My girlfriend and i ate a few foods local to the atlanta area, whatburger was our first meal fresh off the plane and it was good, fries were fresh and the wait time was minimal. We also ate a bar and grille Saturday night and the sever was very friendly and the food was delicious, also very hot and fresh!

I discovered the Koncept House when I decided to arrange a perfume-making class for my birthday. Once inside the building, I learned there were many Black-owned businesses from candle-making studios, photography studios, clothing boutiques, beauty bars, and even a DJ class studio. I even enjoyed a non-alcoholic beverage at The Sober Social Bar after my class. I learned the building also has curated art exhibits in the building as well. There are lots of hidden gems within this build!

Stayed at Omni hotel and enjoyed amenities. They provided fruit plate and wine on the house to celebrate a birthday. I originally came down to attend InvestFest which was an experience in itself. The Omni was connected to the Congress Center which was very convenient.

The night life in Atlanta GA is so different. You can Uber or drive yourself. There are so many choices such as cigar lounge, trap spots, or spoken word. Most places do not have a door entry fee because they make the money off of drinks and hookah. You can actually go to more than one spot each night.

Rockdale River Trail is an excellent place to relax and unwind by yourself, friend, or loved one. The parking is not the best and the parking lot has loose gravel. It’s a great place that’s secluded and perfect for peace and quiet. Overall, this trail is a 8.7/10!

Atlanta was a cool place wish there was more to do or more information for things to do. But the food spots are good and the night life is decent. The wild animal safari was great. Crabs were hitting. The airbnb were unique and decent. Wish the conference were a little more together but the themes were good.

Visited Atlanta for the first time. I had a great experience and felt safe and represented everywhere. I was attending Invest fest 2023 and everyone I met was nice. The city was very active if you like to party but there were also places to chill. I definitely recommend visiting again.

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Atlanta was very courteous checking us in. Gave us the option of self park or valet, which website says you have to valet. The room was very clean and spacious. Front desk clerk explained everything in detail. The price was $346 for the weekend and I would definitely refer it to a friend or anyone.

Lots of historical places to check out. Good southern food options. The aquarium was also worth the price, especially for families. Porsche also allows you to take a car out on their own track if that’s something that you’re interested. If you’re a fan of Trap Music swing by the Trap Museum. Love sports, do a tour of the baseball or football stadiums.

Go to Toast on Lenox! They have really good food, good drinks, and vibes!!! My favorite is the salmon cakes, brussel sprouts, and baked mac and cheese! You will not regret it! They also have a new location, Toast on Lenox Midtown. The mimosas are also a must! Cheers!!

Came to Atlanta and staying at the Darwin Hotel. Love it. Taking full advantage of Invest Festival and learning so much. At the Georgia World Congress Center and enjoying my time looking at the vendors, learning from the speakers and presenters. I haven’t been to Atlanta in almost 30 years so I’m enjoying seeing how much everything has changed. Good food, people, and so much black excellence everywhere you look.

I went to Restaurant 10 and the food was amazing. The waiter was on point and made sure all our drinks were filled and made sure we were satisfied with our food and service. The restaurant was clean and the salmon was great. I would definitely go back for more food.

Atlanta has a multitude of things to do. While most locals frequent lounges and brunch spots, there are a lot of parks and productive network events here. Some examples are Simply Connect and Network Under 40. Also, there are unique gyms like HOTWORX where you can workout within a sauna while getting trained classes

I recently visited Continent restaurant during Black Restaurant Week in Atlana. The food and drinks were fire! I especially enjoyed the tamarind chicken wings and date pudding. The metropolitan city of Atlanta is ideal for the history buff. Sites like the Martin Luther King Jr. home and neighborhood, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Atlanta History Center are just some of the favorites of visitors. Why not take Atlanta’s Black History and civil rights tour? Hike to Stone Mountain. It’s not just a naturally beautiful site, it’s Mountain carving remains a controversial landmark to past dark eras of America. Stone Mountain was the headquarters of the race-based terrorist group, Klu Klux Klan. Today, all walks of people hike the granite rock mountain and many have picnics in the park.

But Atlanta is not just about history. It’s a vibrant modern town, the inventing city of trap music, complete with a museum, as well as many other modern museums like the High Museum of Art, Georgia Aquarium, the Botanical Gardens, Center for Puppetry Arts, Fern Bank Museum of Natural History and most recently, you could immerce yourself in art at the Illuminarium.
When hungry, Atlanta is famous for its Mom and Pop shops, offering unique international cuisine, far better than the national chains. The options for food, art, history, culture and nightlife seem endless.

While traveling back to Atlanta after moving away, I stayed at the Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta. At first I was disappointed in the Braves moving out of downtown Atlanta, but I had a great time at the Battery. Our hotel room has excellent sound proof windows, we were right by the pool and can look out to the Battery and baseball field and was not disrupted during sleep at all. The area is very family friendly and the Battery was a great place to hangout with my baby. They also have a splash park that I will definitely come back to. The staff at the Omni was also great and would recommend staying there.

Traveling to Atlanta, Georgia during the Summer and Fall months is the BEST time to see the a plethora of cultural events being offered in the greater Metroplex! From food, to wine, to music festivals and more, Atlanta has it covered every weekend! One of my favorite music festivals is the One Music Festival happening in October and 2023 is the celebration of Hip Hop! It will definitely be the place to be. Looking for nightlife? Check out Suite Food Lounge and work your away around the downtown area! Don’t worry about being hungry! Atlanta offers some of the best American, Thai, Afro-Caribbean, Mediterranean and other cuisines in the South! And if you are looking for a quiet and upscale getaway, make sure you book a cabin and enjoy the North Georgia wineries. Either way, snag a driver to stay safe and sexy!

Everyone comes to Atlanta and loved to say how all the food is the same and it’s not worth the money. Well I’m here to give you a black owned restaurant that’ll change that perspective for you! My personal favorite is Roc South Cuisine. It’s a southern comfort food restaurant and the food is BANGING! The fried chicken is fried to perfection, when the yams and Mac n cheese touch it feels like thanksgiving. Let’s not forget the DRINKS because they are good and they are strong. The service is top tier, but they are busy so please plan to make a reservation before visiting! Next time you’re in Atlanta try Roc South. You won’t regret it.

I’ve been to Atlanta numerous of times, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay just recently (May 2023). A couple of friends and I drove up from Tampa, FL during Memorial Day weekend. We got settled into our hotel (Atlanta Marriott Buck Head) which was conveniently located across the street from The Lenox Mall. We were able to experience St. James Live : A home for Live Music. That night they had “The Real Tony Tatum” performing and it was phenomenal. Everyone was hyped and in the moment. I would definitely return because I love jazz/90’s hip hop & R&B.

You will find ALL the history in Atlanta. Came in 2019 on a trip with BLUEprint, a club focused on uplifting Black and POC students, and we saw so much! We saw MLK’s house that he grew up in, we went to Morehouse College, the Black History Museum (loved this), but the highlight was the National Center for Human & Civil Rights. Atlanta is known as BLACK-Lanta for a reason and getting to know the history of your Blackness is an incredible thing that you can do here. The food is also amazing. Slutty Vegan started here and has made WAVES since. I highly recommend visiting them at one of their ATL locations.

I love going to Atlanta because there is ALWAYS something to do. So many groups, events and artists come to atlanta at any given time, so there is never a shortage of activities. There are a few outdoor activities such as Stone Mountain or botanical gardens. There are many museums, monuments and historical sites throughout the city to learn about various moments in time. The city can get expensive, but there are options for all budgets. As always, be sure when moving around by yourself, especially at night and if you are a woman. I have never felt unsafe, but I also am very precautious.

FOR NATURE LOVERS: I live in Atlanta. When the pandemic first hit Georgia I decided to research different parks for hiking and walking in the area. You can find places easily on Google maps.. Atlanta and Georgia in general has a lot of parks that are really worth the visit. Some parks are free to visit and some require a $5 parking fee. A few of my favorites with waterfalls are Amicalola (also has ziplining), Roswell Mills, Historic Banning Mills and Cascade Springs. Providence Canyon is a little over an hour southwest of Atlanta but it’s a beautiful park and known as the “little grand canyon”. Providence Canyon is one of my favorites! The views are amazing. Tayard Creek, Sweetwater, and Piedmont are good for walking and biking. East Indian Palisades trails are great for hiking. There are multiple trails and even one that leads to a bamboo forest. The hike to the bamboo forest took 2 hours or so but I had my toddler nephew with me so it may be shorter with just adults. The bamboo forest was a cool site to see. I was able to see some people have a photo shoot and my sister climbed one fo the trees for a cool photo. Definitely worth visiting at east once.

So I know a lot of people go to Atlanta for the nightlife, sports, food. But if you’re an outdoors nature loving person like myself, there are actually things to do from within metro Atlanta to a couple hours away. I recently came across a hidden bamboo forest on the banks of the Chattahoochee river which itself already has your water activities down packed. From kayaking, white water rafting or simply floating down the river, to hiking alongside the river on several trails. Speaking of hiking, there are several trails up the mountains less than a couple hours north of the city, specifically trails to see the many waterfalls. Want a mountain hike nearby, there’s Kennesaw mountain and Stone mountain for less strenuous walks. If you’re into water activities like jetskiing, wakeboarding or just renting a boat, you should check out Lake Acworth or Allatoona or the legendary Lanier. Basically, Atlanta has things to offer for the nature loving adventure seeker

There are so many things to do in Atlanta! I recommend going to Centennial Park to start. Surrounding Centennial Park is the Coke Museum, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, CNN Atlanta, and the Chick-fil- A College Football Hall of Fame, the Aquarium, and so much more. I bought a city pass for about $77 which allowed me to get in those places for free or a steep discount. Make sure you visit Martin Luther king Junior‘s home in the church that he preached at!

The more changes that come to Atlanta, the more we need to take a second to remind ourselves how awesome our city already is. We don’t blame you for looking forward to the latest crop of restaurants, but there’s a buffet of things out there right now that show you the best of Georgia’s capital city — places to eat, drink, play, and stay until you’ve had your fill of whatever it was that brought you out of the house. Get out there and enjoy Atlanta for all its worth. We have a ton of black owned business so try and patronize those. If you want to be in nature go to the Chattahoochee River, or Raven Cliff trails which is only about 1 hr and 30 minutes away and you can see a waterfall. Hit up downtown Decatur, Krog street tunnel to see artwork. If you want history go to the King Center.

The first stop you should make in Atlanta is The Beltline. There are numerous bars, restaurants and parks that are very popular no matter what season it is. There are three W Hotels in the city and make for a great place to catch a pool party or have a drink in a lively bar with local DJs. Piedmont Park is the home for many festivals or just locals enjoying nice weather. Edgewood Ave is another great place to visit if you’re looking to bar hop or run into pop-up events. East Palisades Trail is one of the best walking travels for a quick break from the city and amazing views of nature. Ponce City Market will cure all of your shopping, skyline view, food cravings and adventure all in one stop. If you have a car and a little extra time then head an hour north of the city towards a small sunflower farm. The farm is open some time between June/July but the timeframe and duration depend on weather.

It’s all ways something going on in Atlanta. Lenox mall, strip clubs, lounges, restaurants, bars you name it. Beautiful women everywhere. Def visit in the summer months. City not as live in the cold months. Strip clubs to visit. Blue flame, magic city, follies are my personal favorites. You also can’t go wrong with going to edgwood for drinks.

As a native, I can say we have a lot to offer. Visit before everything fully gentrified. Eat on Buford Highway and Jimmy Carter Blvd.! Don’t eat at chain restaurants. Support black owed businesses. What I will request is that y’all visit and then go home. We are FULL!

See the stars…literally. The city is loaded with A-Listers that are reachable and relatable. Climb Stone Mountain or Kennesaw Mountain for a great workout that’s not your normal gym day. Visit shows at the historic Fox Theatre and bar hop through Buckhead. Atlanta is the city that never sleeps. It’s like “baby New York”!!

Atlanta is a great city. I got here by plane as Atlanta’s airport has many flight options. I stayed at the W hotel downtown which is very nice. Coming from California, things were not too expensive to me. Atlanta is a majority black city so traveling the while black is amazing. Make sure to visit the aquarium and coca cola museum!

ATL ATL, so much to do. I hit the ground running with this city. I was the ultimate tourist and decided to get the pass for some of the major attractions, World of Coca-Cola, College football Hall of Fame, CNN Studio and Georgia Aquarium. Each stop was full of activity, my favorites were the aquarium and world of Coca-Cola. The hall of fame was really good too because in addition to the exhibits they have activities that you can participate in. Of course, I had to have brunch in ATL and it was delicious, unfortunately the name of the restaurant slipped my mind as I’m writing this but I’m sure any brunch spot in Atlanta is delicious. I’d go back, just as soon as I’m done visiting the other major cities in the US. ?

I have been to Atlanta 5 times. I love it because it’s so much to do. The night life is pretty dope with everything from strip clubs, nice chill lounges and nightclubs. The food in Atlanta is good. They have some of the best soul food restaurants in the U.S. I love going to Lenox Mall to shop. If you ever want to live there, the houses are pretty affordable. I recently just went down there for the Falcons VS. Cowboys game at the Mercedes Stadium. I had the best time of my life with vip all access to food and drinks. My seats were amazing at the 50 yardline on row 10. But all in all Atlanta is a wonderful city to visit.

    I love Atlanta!
I go there every couple years to visit family and one of my favorite places to go to while I’m there is Little Five Points.
It’s an area that has bars, smoke shops, vegan restaurants, juice stores, a black owned supermarket, a store full of crystals, book stores, hair shops and soooo much more.
It’s an area that exudes Black culture with its beautiful street art.
The food in this area is good too!
Definitely add Little Five Points to your list when visiting Atlanta!

Of course I visited Dr. Martin Luther king historics, that was amazing to see his home and church in person. But night life in Atlanta is crazy my favorite restaurant was called the stream, please try their lobster po boy! And my favorite night club was the U bar, great food and drinks and let’s not forget about the entertainment, if you’re brave enough or have had enough drinks you can ride the bull, they have an actual ring set up with a mechanical bull, if you’re too scared to ride you can watch the staff take turns, my hotel was the Marriott right next to the airport and the breakfast was banging.

I travel to Atlanta annually because I love the black opulence the city exudes. You want to experience black greatness and dominance existing, travel here. Atlanta has everything to offer from countless attractions, entertainment, nightlife, FOOD, and of course black history (this where the Great Martin Luther King Jr. resided). As often as I come to Atlanta, I still find something new and intriguing on every visit. I love this city so much, I’ve considered moving there.

I visited Atlanta, for the first time, briefly for a medical conference. To be completely honest, I didnt plan on doing anything besides studying, but I found that to be absolutely impossible. Downtown Atlanta was absolutely filled with things to do. From shopping, to amzinging dining options, and we cant forget about the nightlife! I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay in Atlanta. This city was filled with so much culture, it was beautiful to experience!

This is my home! There is PLENTY of nightlife in Atlanta!! The great thing about Atlanta is there is night life probably just as much during the week as there is during the weekend!! Tongue and Groove is amazing for r&b and hip hop on a Monday night. On Wednesday’s and Thursday’s go to Instanblue for 90’s r&b and hip hop. Instanblue is a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge in Buckhead. It’s small and gets crowded after 10pm so get there earlier for seating. On the weekends Mansion Elan, Gold Room and Opium are great especially if you are in your 20’s. If you are 30 plus Instanblue, Whiskey Mistress and Wet Willie’s May be more appealing.

Nightlife in Atlanta is crazy!!!!!! There are abundant amount of clubs from downtown to Midtown and up to Buckhead. RIP to the old Buckhead clubs. There are still some in Buckhead but not like it used to be. From the regular clubs to the strip clubs you’ll see some of the best in Atlanta. Atlanta is particularly known for their strips clubs and they do not disappoint. Much different and better than the rest of the country.

This is my getaway for a weekend. I love visiting my best friend in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a city that I go to and indulge in soul food for days. We went to the Salt Factory pub to eat the best shrimps and grits located in Alpharetta. I enjoyed walking the local mall. I had the pleasure of going to Pressed clothing store to shop, and actually having a great conversation with the beautiful owner Rasheeda from Love and Hip Hop. We had drinks at the Yard House. At night we went to a local hookah bar which was nice and laid back. Dj Sanchez music mix was fire! This state is so historic. I love all the detail and quick history lesson in the airport about Georgia. This would always be my quick weekend getaway.

While in Atlanta we saw the Skyview. It is amazing. It’s a Ferris wheel and a great way to view downtown Atlanta. We also went to the Georgia Aquarium. It is a walk through aquarium and one of the largest.

Atlanta is a major city built on history and culture. From the music, to food, to the Universities that take place, you will always have something to do. This southern city was definitely one of my favs!! Btw, as far as the night life, I would give it 10 stars if it were applicable.
