Architecture, and buildings in Bath are nothing more than amazing! Food is good, people are friendly and have lived in the area for years! Just down the road from Bath you can visit Bristol, England And check out the “ Clifton Suspension Bridge” beautiful site and history behind the bridge. Quiet town, more like the country side, locals walk and picnic in the area. Very chill, perfect weather, away from the busy city of London.

Traveled to Bath on a tour back in 2003 (a while back I know). But this spot was worth the quick stop over. The Bath museum is a known favorite. I found it worth the time, especially if you read up on the history a bit. Always nice to see history books come to life. This was a part of a day tour where we hit 2 other . spots. So don’t feel bad if you only give it a few hours.

Bath is great for history buffs, especially if you are into Roman history or Jane Austen. I love the Georgian architectural style of their buildings.I cannot rave enough about it. The buildings and the landscape were really the highlight of my trip there. I did not partake in the night life because I was visiting from Bristol, so I don’t know much about the night life but I highly doubt it something to recommend given the lay out of the city. The city a bit crowded with tourists but I will recommend you take a walk towards a less crowded area to get a serene take of the city. There are tons of places to shop and places to eat. I would recommend taking a tour bus. Be sure to also check out the Roman Baths if you have 17euros to spare. Overall the people are nice and it’s safe and comfortable traveling while black.

If you’re a history buff you absolutely cannot miss a trip to Bath. The Roman Baths themselves are a magnificent but the adjacent museum and heritage center is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s interactive and incredibly engaging for all ages. Before you exit the complex you can even drink from the natural hot spring that supplies the baths! Stonehenge is also a short drive away and many tours organize day visits to both Bath and Stonehenge. I couldn’t recommend both of them more!

I lived in England for 5 months and this is one of my favorite cities. Bath, England is one of the most aesthetically appealing cities in England. The town is known for its Roman Architecture and Roman Bath. The architecture is truly heavily and classic. Its a small town and everything is within walking distance. I was lucky to stumble across a hidden gem called Taka Taka a tiny gyro eatery. Taka Taka is definitely a must visit they sell amazing gyros that are very cheap and huge! The city is very quaint and relaxing, unfortunately the town’s small size does limit the number of activities to do. Bath is the perfect town to visit if you’re already in England.

The Roman baths were one of the best things i visited on my trip to londo . I didnt thinj i would like it but i did. You can take a tour bus up there to go visit. The romans used to occupy a part of england a long time ago and this is a part where they had the baths. Its very cool to see all this ancient structures still there. At the end of the tour you actually get to taste some of the water. It wasnt a pleasant taste lol but the romans used to believe it can bring you healing powers.

Be sure to check out the Roman Baths for the ancient spa side of bath city. If the weather is good ensure you visit the latest spa “thermae bath spa” and enjoy the warm roof top pool! https://mobile.thermaebathspa.com
If you visit at the right time of year, there is a lavender field near by bath city with hundreds of sunflowers called “Somerset Lavender”. Here you can also try lavender brownies and scones with lavender tea or hot chocolate. AMAZING!
