Nashville is a two hour drive from my hometown and three hours from Memphis. It is famous for its country music scene. I once told a coworker that I grew up in TN and he got so excited asking about if I went Dolly Parton’s amusement park called Dollywood which is about 3 hours away. As you head from west Tennessee towards east you will notice the increase in elevation due to the Appalachian Mountains. I like Nashville because it gives a different sensation compared to Memphis. I don’t like country music so I don’t really visit much but if that’s your thing you cant go wrong with Nashville.
Went for a concert a few years ago. Long weekend trip. Food is amazing! Visited the Grand Ole Opry, a soul food restaurant near Fisk U, Fisk U (my mom went there) and Broadway, which is like the main drag. Get bbq and soul food!
Definitely check out Fable, a great place to get a drink!

Nashville was amazing, a quick get away from Georgia where I reside. I hopped in my car, filled up on gas, and drove down. It took under 4 hours to reach my destination. I booked an Airbnb Private Room at BentoLiving Chestnut Hill, (which turned out to be a hotel) really nice. Super clean, they had breakfast every day and a little bodega store inside with groceries if you wanted to use the shared space to cook or just have a snack. I paid $296 for 3 days and two nights. Lastly, they had live rooftop music every night. Very nice ambiance, I would recommend.
Around the city, there is so much to see! You must try their Nashville hot chicken, hit up broadway street for your country culture paradise, and stop at their countless photo ops in the city.
