This would be one of the most reliable
places to go. I’ve been going to this Babylon for years and they have never done me wrong! It’s a restaurant/hookah lounge/bar and they’re open all day long. With guaranteed FREE parking! During the day, it is definitely family friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. As well as a non-smoking area.
Great atmosphere, great music whether it is live music or a DJ. They have great food and exceptional customer service. I will say I’ve never had a bad day at this place. I highly recommend it.
When visiting Alexandria, it is a must to take a tour with Manumission Tours. This black owned business offers several tours that highlight Alexandria’s historically black neighborhoods.
The Alexandria Black History is a gem that must not be missed. Rotating exhibits ground visitors in the culture of Black Alexandria. Housed in the former black library that was constructed due to the 1939 sit in that occurred at segregated Queen street library, is a testament to the importance of Black History.
