I and my family were here in 2022. My wife and daughter were walking my dog around the hotel and an armed guy walked up to them and said “I won’t slap your daughter because your dog is right there.” That made it so I wanted to leave but I had a couple more weeks obligation for the job (I’m a traveling welder). We stayed the 2 weeks. I had someone call the cops on us for taking rocks from the hotel that we had permission to take. The cop followed me into the parking lot. He drove up to the manager and employees and asked them if someone was stealing rocks. The manager said never to come here for rocks and that we had permission. The cop asked if it was us. He wanted to still mess with us. The manager started screaming at the cop to leave. I would say stay away from anywhere in Indiana. Locals in Bedford told me about a bridge that isn’t in use. They say tied up refrigerators and cars are dumped there. They say it stinks. They say this to me and act oblivious to what they’re telling me. The people there would be kind to my face and then ask her if I hit her when I wasn’t there. 1 guy called me the N word to my wife. I had problems with the other hotel I was gonna stay at when I first got there. This was way worse than what I experienced in Michigan. Worse place I’ve been. I wasn’t just in Bedford. I went to Bloomington, French Lick, and other places. Indiana is baaaaad… Stay away…
