This is definitely a nice safe area for Black people. I stayed for a few days and really enjoyed it. I watched some fireworks and stayed at a Marriott. It was much more diverse than I expected. I visited a shopping mall, museum and had some good food. I saw lots of other Black people and they seemed to be comfortable. I didn’t get too many weird looks or anything.
