Hello, I lived in Bowie for 3 years. It is no longer a sundown town. Feel free to stop at Walmart, McDonalds, allsups, etc. the town even has a black officer. My children attended Bowie schools and loved it. The people there are very friendly and will help a stranger with no problem.
