I celebrated my birthday in December by visiting Cancun, and it was an unforgettable experience! Cancun is an incredible destination that combines modern amenities with rich history, fantastic cuisine, and plenty of adventure. I stayed at the Marquis Cancun, a stunning 4.5-star all-inclusive resort.

    Royalton Riviera. Spa was nice.
experience was OK . A few black people were there. Front desk was nice. Butlers were nice but unorganized. Trip was paid for. I’d recommend trying the newer one if you have children. All inclusive, drinks were good.

Cancun is a place that will make you feel noticed as a traveler as soon as you are exiting the airport there are locals trying to get your attention as good as that may may make you feel. They are usually trying to get a good deal out of you going in the middle of summer. The air is humid and hot. The sun is beaming, in the waters are ferocious. There is a good amount of diversity between the tourist and the locals seem hospitable, but there are a few of them who do not take a liking to black travelers. I once went to try and wash my feet at the wash station at the beach, but its owner immediately turned off the water when he saw me and my other black friend approaching, but turned it back on for any other race and when asked why he said it was because they were closed . On the flipside, some locals seem to be fascinated with people of color, and I even got asked to take a photo with them. If you are looking for a cheaper destinations, Cancun is not the place as it is a city with high tourist activity and you can even say some things are more expensive there than they are in a place like Atlanta. Cancun is a great place to go and have fun especially if you bring enough money and to do a little research before hand. Weed is easy to find and pretty much any store, just ask and you shall receive! The air is so moist your skin will always be moisturized!

Mexico is a great city for tourists attractions. I went to Explor adventure park and zip lined for the first time. I also enjoyed different fruits and foods out there as opposed to America. Everything tastes more authentic and is more fulfilling. I also didn’t mind walking everywhere because the scenery was beautiful.

Jeremiah time in Cancun I stayed at the Moon Palace Resort for a friends wedding and my experience while traveling black was not as amazing as I want has been when visiting city. Unfortunately, I experienced some rest of them while on the resort, not only from staff, but also from some of the other travelers visiting the resort. I honestly would not recommend the Moon palace resort due to my experience. Not only is it expensive very experience but to add an unpleasant experience on top of that is not something I look forward to when I’m traveling to relax and reset. I thought, and the travel agent that I won’t be able to receive a little bit more luxury, while traveling or attempt to make my experience better, but I didn’t receive that. The hotel bus drivers blatantly ignored my boyfriend, and I when we were trying to catch a ride to our destinations around the hotel, which was super uncomfortable and unexpected. If you’re traveling to this hotel, please travel with caution that you may be treated less there.

I went to Dreams Jade All inclusive resort for 4 days ($1500)?? I was there to travel solo and be totally unplugged. The on site spa and the hibatchi restaurant was my top favorite! The beach concierge knew what I needed and liked by day 2, I didn’t know whether to be embarrassed or appreciative. It was top knotch service!

When you go to Cancun you already know that you are going to party. But if you want to party and have a BLAST make sure you go to LaVaquita! You can’t miss it because it a big cow in the front. They play hip hop music and Latin music. My 5 friends and i ordered two bottles of Don Julio reposado and paid $30 a piece. Now if you’ve partied in the United States then you KNOW that’s a steal. They also have really good food but this spot is more of a party vibe. So if you wanna have fun go visit LaVaquita!

I know people don’t often associate Cancun as family friendly destination but we had a blast as a Black family traveling to Cancun. We stayed at The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort Villas & Spa which was centrally located and right on the beach! Pro tip: You can get around relatively easily without knowing Spanish, especially in the touristy areas. Also at one point we took the local bus to visit a nearby market which the kids really enjoyed. There is also a mall/activity area walking distance from the hotel which had plenty of food options and places to sign up for activities. Overall experience was a 5/5 for my family.

We went to Mexico to relax after our trip to Costa Rica, but we did find a day to do some adventurous things.

Our main reason for visiting Mexico was to see Chichen Itza as we are advent explorers for seeing the World Wonders. It was an incredible site but was really hot so we recommend going early in the morning. The nice part about our tour was that it wasn’t very crowded.

After spending half a day at Chichen Itza, we went to the Cenote there are several to explore but we went to Ik Kil Cenote. The wanted is a bit cold but after a day in the sun, you’ll want to cool down. There is a huge cafeteria you can have lunch at as well.

We stayed at Le Blanc where there was an array of activities to do!

Great experience!! I booked a combo flight and hotel stay for under $300 from Expedia and also bough a $200 Go City pass which gave us 1 premium excursion and unlimited regular excursions to restaurants and bars in Cancun. Overall great experience, I highly recommend the Go City pass because you get so much for the money you spent. We were able to go ATV riding, snorkeling, & zip lining with our premium excursions and we also received open bars and free drinks from restaurants with our regular excursions.

If you are going to Cancun for a special occasion- I highly recommend Le Blanc! I’ve been to several countries and stayed at a lot of hotels and this is by far the best one!
Upon arrival you are greeted with a nice cool drink and a cool lavender scented towel. Each guest has their very own check in counter where you are given a neck pillow to relax while you check in. Each floor comes with its own butler. Oh yeah, the resort is ADULT-ONLY and ALL-INCLUSIVE. There are 3 swimming pools, 2 swim up bars, and an array of daily activities.

This is world-class service and impeccable facilities. You will not be disappointed. They even have a turtle hatching farm. The rooms are equipped with jacuzzi and the views are amazing.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico (All Fun Inclusive Resort): This was our first time visiting and by far one of the best trips I’ve taken thus far. Besides having to wear a mask out of the water, and while getting food in the buffet areas, the experience was very pleasing. There were half as many people on the Xenotes tour, which was nice. And fewer people at the parks means very little or no wait times for attractions. The staff are required to wear masks at all times, and although masks were required on the property, there were plenty of guests not adhering to the rules. Nevertheless it felt very safe with all the precautions. Please remember to make your reservations right after you finalize your itinerary. We were there from Thursday to Sunday. 1100 a piece all inclusive park. Food drinks all 7 parks free transportation. Also flight and room were included.

Xenotes is a must. Not everyone enjoys Xel-Ha, but if you have time, it was a relaxing day trip. And you will need reservations at Xin Gao, Las Cuevas, and Teatro Del Rio. I highly recommend Xin Gao, as there are 3 styles to choose from. Sushi bar, Teppanyaki, and Fusion. If you can only choose one of the 3, I recommend the sushi bar or the fusion table. Teppanyaki was entertaining, but I left hungry, so I stopped by the late night taco stand right outside. Las Cuevas is like a Brazilian steakhouse, where they bring the meat to your table. It’s outdoors, but in an open cave, so it can be warm if there is no breeze. Definitely a unique experience. We skipped the teatro del rio dinner show this year, since I didn’t like the prix fixe menu last year. All the other places to eat do not require reservations. We usually ate breakfast at the buffet, and lunch at la trajinera or las playas. Start saving your $1 & $5 bills, and believe all the other positive reviews about this place. I like to think of it like a Mexican Disney, the way it is set up with free transportation to the parks, and the wristband system. Watch the park reviews on YouTube and you will know what to expect. I’ve only vacationed at the same location once, but I will definitely return here again. Again, the overall cost was 1100 a piece every included from Thursday to Sunday

Cancun is exactly what you’ve heard that it is a party place but if you want to chill out you can have that too. It really is a fun place with a lot of water sports. The shopping is is OK but no museums, no cultural things to visit. I would say if you want fun, sun and water this is the place for you!

If you’re a beach and all-inclusive-resort person, this is for you. But if you’re a museum and park person, you won’t find much to do. I went for my honeymoon. The first 2 days i arrived was great but after that i got a little bored. And i was there for a whole 10 days. I did do some activities other than the beach like ATV, went to a cenote and visited Coba which were all great but Going to the city from the beach area is kinda far and it’s not fun being stuck in a hotel that’s far from everything. So plan right And stay centered

I stayed at the Temptation Resort Cancún and it was great! The Temptation Resort Cancún was in all inclusive adults only resort. The food is good and there was plenty to do at the resort. This particular resort had a topless beach/pool option, so this is a great place to be if you just want to free yourself! I really enjoyed the service that I got at this resort. I went during the pandemic and the entire staff was masked up! However, the visitors were not wearing their mask, my boyfriend and I make sure we wore masks all the time around the resort just to protect ourselves. The staff is extremely friendly and I would definitely recommend staying at this resort!

When it comes to activities and adventure, Cancun is going to be at the top of the list. Just about every water activity you can imagine, boat excursions, Zipline, ATV, etc. I stayed in the Hotel Zone area of Cancun and the beach and water out there is phenomenal. I could never get enough of just looking at the water. That made it even more enticing to get out there and explore. Jet Skis, para sailing, and speed boating were some of the prime activities, but you could even take a scuba lesson and go diving the same day! Cancun is definitely the place to go if you want a tropical adventure experience.

My best friend and I booked our trip to Cancun for my birthday and cross something off my bucket list. For this trip it wasn’t planned months in advance so we took. We took Southwest being that it was a straight flight (no connections) from where we were and I used Expedia for my excursions once we got there. We got a bundle deal with zip lining, diving/swimming in the river or cove, lunch and breakfast, ATV riding, picked up from our hotel and brought back to our hotel with the company’s shuttle service. I travel for the excursions and not the food (I know, I know I am weird, laughing). It’s all about seeing the country and getting involve with the culture by being active that excites me about traveling the world. The ‘clubs’ are not my first choice so I couldn’t comment immensely on that aspect in any country respectfully. I know that some people will say ‘but I don’t want to travel alone’ I have had most of my best experiences traveling alone and with people I love, but I love traveling alone more because there is no “Drama and late rising people who missed most of my day already to do stuff (laughing). Take that chance!! If you don’t want to use the bundles from third party, go to the front desk if you are not in a resort and ask for a day pass or for the duration you are at the hotel for to visit the all inclusive resort and experience their benefits (dinning, water park, stage shows, all you can eat, etc.). I stayed in the city and it was safe and the hotel have shuttles that will drop you off and pick you up from the resorts they have partnerships with.

Went to Cancun in May of 2019. I did not know I would enjoy this place as much as I did but it was fun! Most things were fairly priced, overall Cancun is very cost-friendly.

Here’s some of the stuff I did:

Visited the pyramids at Chichen Itza (1 of the 7 wonders of the world). It was blazing hot so grab your sunscreen, sunglasses, & hat.

Went to 2 cenotes/cenotés. One in Yucatán called ‘Cenote Ik Kil’. I think it was a 2-3 hour ride from Cancun. I believe the other cenoté was located in Cancun. The one in Yucatán was beautiful and such a “one-with-nature” experience. I believe they told us the cenoté is 150ft deep which scared the heck out of me ( I can’t swim y’all). You’re allowed to swim in it, if you can’t swim they provide life jackets.

Zip lining & ATV riding at Extreme Adventure Cancun. Everything was safe & fun. Now, I will say I’ve never drove an ATV before & thought I could handle it but it was fast and the path was rocky with a lot of curves. However, it was fun but I will probably never do it again lol I was scared to death. If you like speed and heights, go here.

Visited the Marina to go shopping. Nice restaurants, lit stores and a nice view over looking the water.

Site-seeing on Isla Mujeres. Beautiful island. Local shops and food with a lot of historic sites. One the tequila store owners gave us free shots of tequila, everyone we met was super nice & down to earth.

I was in Cancun in May 2017. It was Memorable. We were there for about a week.
We got a hotel apartment on Kukulkan Blvd (where everything is at basically). Car rental is very cheap too if want to explore on your own and drive around.
Night life: my top 3 clubs to go out are

    1. La Vaquita
    2. Coco bongo
    3. Mandala
    All located in Hotel Zone

We also went on excursions in
Chitchen Itza, Cenote and Isla mujeres.

We drove to Playa del Carmen and shopped on the 5th avenue (Quinta Avenida)
stopped by this restaurant called La Parillo. Food was exquisite. I would go back anytime. I totally recommend. On that note, make sure you stop to get churros from street food trucks they’re the best! hands down.

From Cancun I think there are just the nice beach. So to visite and do something really interesting better to go first to ISLA MUJERES from Cancun. The boat is not expensive.

And from any hotel events when you walk to the city you can find agency for a Tour. Mine was Cenote – chichen Itza – and one day. The agency come pick you near you hotel and the food y including.

And please don’t go in December or During Christmas it’s really expensive with all Americans who go in the same time.

Cancun has a bad reputation of being a spring break hot spot, but our recent trip had the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. You can easily avoid the spring break crowd by doing some research on your resort before booking. We stayed at the Reflect Cancun Resort & Spa (all inclusive) which was only a few blocks away from the shopping center and nightlife! We found a good bundle deal on Expedia, total cost including flight from Houston was around $1,100 for 2. We spent the first day exploring, trying local foods, drinking margaritas, and relaxing on the beach all day. Our second day we booked an excursion (through the resort) that included ATV rides, ziplining through the jungle, and then a dive into one of Cancun’s most popular cenotes. I’m glad we decided to give this city a shot!

Myself and 2 cousins visited Cancun, Mexico and stayed at Grand Oasis Sens, which was a beautiful all-inclusive hotel, with tons of restaurants and non-stop drinks on deck! Mexico has some of the bluest water I have ever seen!!!! As far as things to do, Cancun seemed to have the usual excursions, but I feel they were more expensive than other places I have visited; like we picked the party boat and VIP nightlife tour and that was about $150, which is pricey compared to other excursion packages. But all in all we had a ball, and it was the best nightlife scene I have been to yet. It was a group of about 20 of us and we went to 4 clubs, had VIP/tables in every club and didn’t have to pay for drinks all night, so it was worth what we would’ve paid out of pocket for something like that. Also, they have great luxury and standard shopping stores, grocery stores, etc. for you to visit while you’re there! I would travel there again!

I went to Cancun for Christmas 2019 and it was the perfect relaxing vacation. We stayed in Haven resort and spa, an all-inclusive hotel that cost about $250 pn. It is a little drive from the main hotel strip and ideal to experience the peaceful side of cancun. Slight side note, the staff were brilliant and very helpful.
The food and cocktails were great, with a variety of local dishes to experience for the first time.
The beach was quiet, as was the hotel (perhaps because its quite new) which suited us perfectly. However this meant there was no real nightlife in the resort and a night out to the ‘strip’ proved difficult to organise and expensive so we didn’t bother this time as we were mainly there to relax.
When we were relaxation in the near deserted beach or swim up bar we ventured out to Chichen Itza and Isla Mujeres. Both were booked through the hotel concierge and are highly recommended. Chichen Itza was a whole, fairly long, day excursion which cost about $100pp and included transportation and lunch, aswel as entry. We also stopped at a cenote on the way-which is a must do! So bring your swim wear.
Our half day catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres was fabulous. It cost about $60pp and drinks on the boat were included. We decided to explore the island using one of the very novel golf carts. We loved the freedom this gave us, just keep an eye on the time and how much gas you have left! We were able to find a secluded beach on the north coast that we had to ourselves. Paradise!

My cousin and I recently visited Cancun for our birthdays at the end of January 2020 and it was an adventure filled experiences. Cancun is one of my favorite destinations to visit because it’s year round tropical weather, beautiful white sand beaches, flavorful cuisine, friendly locals and endless opportunities for adventure. If you’re planning on visiting soon I would highly recommend staying at the hotel zone area. All the hotels in the area are on the beach and local restaurants, bars and clubs are short walking distance from the hotels. We stayed at the JW Marriott in the hotel zone area, upon arrival the staff greeted us and provided free breakfast services and a $50 drink voucher each day with our day. The hotel had agencies at the lobby where you could conveniently book excursions and rent cars. We booked a a series of excursions with our stay from ATV rides in the jungle and beach with maroma atv tours ($70 per persons) ferry tickets to isla mujeres($22) golf cart rentals for the day on the island ($49) day tours to Xcaret with food and drinks included ($170 per person), to day care rentals to road trip around Tulum and playa del Carmen ($60). My favorite activities in the trip was the squander experience at Azulik hotel in tulum. We rented a car and road trip down to Tulum the drive was approx 2 hrs and paid $50 per person to enter the hotel for the sunset experience our ticket included one drink. If you plan on doing this activity go early try to get there at 4pm because this gets crowded). The views at the sunset experience were breath taking and the hotels is the most picturesque spots in Tulum. I’ve always wanted to ride a camel but thought I needed to visit Egypt to do so however, I was able to do this activity in Mexico. This excursion was 45 minutes long we rode the camels to the beach watched the sunset at maroma beach, we also had the opportunity to feed the camels. On the tour there’s a photographer taking pictures, I typically don’t buy into tourist traps, he was fantastic and took some amazing pictures of us with the camels and on the beach during sunset. We ended buying all his pictures because they were amazing. The hotel provided transportation To the tour they picked us up and after the tour dropped us off free of charge. I really enjoyed my advent our experience in Cancun and I would highly recommend visiting, mexico gets a bad rep for cartels and danger by once did I ever feel like I was in danger there. Go see and experience for yourself !

Me and my boyfriend went to Cancun for our birthday trip July 2019, it was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised! Cancun gets a bad rep for being a party city, spring break etc. but it is definitely what you make it! We made it a baecation/turn up/ relaxation trip for us and I had a ball! The one thing I was most surprised about was how good the FOOD was! For a romantic dinner I highly suggest Rosa Negra. For Lunch – hands down best tacos (with a side of a whole vibe/ day party) was at Mandala Beach Club. Stayed in an airbnb at Ocean Dream and it was a cute resort!

My first ever group trip and it was awesome. I visited two cenotes, it cost 80pesos to enter IK Kil it’s out of this world. I went to Chichen Itza it’s my first world wonder ? I even took a boat for us$19 to Isla Mujeres, I’ll definitely recommend. It’s a lovely small island. My stay at Occidental Costa Cancun was perfect I’ll Ben back for sure. The locals are nice. It’s cheap to travel by bus. Omg their honey tequila is a must try. I’m not a big fan of their food. Overall it was a good vacation

Cancun is always a great time. If you need a recommended place to stay then I would suggest Breathless. The customer service is top-notch, food is delicious and the overall experience is unbeatable. If you get the VIP package then you have your own lounge that you have access to 24/7 with different goodies throughout the day along with a private bar. If you’re traveling with a group I would suggest renting a private yacht. I don’t recall the company we went through however we had two captains, liquor and authentic Hispanic food prepared for lunch. La Vaquita (The little Cow) is a night club in the heart of Cancun. If you want you can club hop but we decided to stay at the one club and purchase a table. The only thing I would beware of is if you use the restroom just know you will be asked to purchase different types of narcotics. You can simply say no and keep it moving. Cancun is a beautiful island with many things to do.

Cancun is the ?!!!! It always something to do. It’s cool bc you get to meet people from all over the world who come there to soak up sun and party hard at night. There is a party district and a hotel district. You will have to take a bus or taxi to party zone. Maybe 15 minute drive but worth it! Mexico also has Great food great excursions. I recommend the excursion to Isla Mujeres. It’s a local island that very touristy. The local people are cool. The women are HOT! the water is beautiful! Can’t go wrong with Mexico !!

I went to cancun for my 25th birthday in june and i had a fabulous trip. I honestly just stayed in the resort and relaxed. I stayed at the hyatt ziva cancun adults only. Now please not even though it says adults only the non adults only part of the hotel is still intertwined. This means you still see kids at the dining area etc. The perks of staying at the adults only part is you get your own personal butlers and you get access to the adults only pool which overlooks the resort. The food at the french restaurant was ahmazing! And my experience overall was just relaxing and fun. I heard cancun have a pretty wild and nice nightlife but I didn’t leave the hotel sadly! The history of this city is amazing and all the architecture was breathtaking, i personally loved the statues all over the city. Just knowing that they were built yearsssss ago and are still standing

Cancun was one of the first countries I visited. The locals are friendly and there’s so much to do! I stayed at Riu all inclusive and the food was great! While there I did zip lining, atv riding, and visited coco de bongo. I booked everything once I got to the hotel. I’d love to go back since it’s been years

I went to visit Cancun, Mexico for my aunts 50th Birthday celebration. Our group was 60+ deep so we got a discount at the Now Jade Resort.

Since this trip was for relaxation and the birthday festivities they had planned at the resort we did not leave the resort. That is one regret I have and will just have to visit again! However, we were instructed by our driver that it may not be a good idea to leave the resort if we don’t speak Spanish as we might get swindled by law enforcement. After hearing that, we felt less bad about not leaving the resort. (I think this was an isolated incident of something serious that had happened a few days before us arriving, I don’t think this is often an issue, or at least not as heightened all the time, but I am not sure) My mom did go to the ruins on an all day excursion and loved it.

The resort was all inclusive, we stayed in a room that had two queen beds, a living area and a balcony. Alcohol was included and room service was included. There was an all day buffet that served breakfast, lunch and dinner and a few restaurants (Asian, Italian, and French). The gratuity was also included in our price but the service was phenomenal so of course we tipped every worker we encountered.

The food was good, there was an adult pool on one side of the resort and a family pool on the other. They have activities like morning Yoga, water aerobics, and pilates, nights with live bands, etc. They had a market set up in the main area of the resort for shopping and souvenirs. & At the time we went the World Cup was going on so they had those games playing on a giant (I mean it was huge) screen in another main area of the hotel.

A few of my family members paid for airport transportation through the travel agent which was $80 per person. We booked roundtrip transportation to and from the airport for $80 total (so $40 each plus tip). They were waiting for us when we landed, very friendly, and handled our bags for us.

My only complaint about Now Jade was that the juice and soda tasted bad. We would order mixed drinks and they would taste horrible but when we ordered shots the alcohol tasted fine. So we had to either take the canned sodas from the mini fridge in our room to mix our own drinks at the bar or drink liquor straight. After about 2 days we decided to just stick to wine and champagne.

Overall my experience in Cancun was a great one, I really enjoyed the resort and look forward to trying out a different resort next time and also getting out and enjoying Cancun as well as the nightlife they have to offer.

While in Cancun I took a boat ride to Isla Mujeres. I bought the ticket right on the beac.It was a small boat. At first I got seasick. I didn’t believe this is a real thing but I thought I was dying. The crew helped me by putting ice on my neck and I was able to enjoy the rest of the excursion. We docked at Isla Mujeres for buffet lunch. The food was delicious. I met some others that got sick on their boats. I got to swim and take pictures with a nurse shark. There were shops and other activities. Sailing back I sat on the upper level. This helped a lot. Drinks were included. The staff was attentive and friendly. They played different music and made it a party ride. I would suggest if you take the boat rides from Cancun pack some Dramamine. ?

This was another full all inclusive package that I booked through Sunwing.ca If you have read my previous review you know that you can also book through the American sister company Vacation Express. This was just a quick 4 day trip for me as a get away from work and life and it was absolutely the right choice. I arrived at the hotel using the same transport company as before (Nexus tours). They picked me up and whisked me away to the amazing Royalton Riviera Cancun hotel which is apparently the flagship hotel for the Royalton brand. I may be mistaken but I’m sure I heard that while I was down there. I was greeted in the stunning open space hotel lobby with a cool towel to freshen up after my five our flight from Toronto and was offered offered a drink while checking in. Once I checked in to my luxury package (Diamond Club) I was escorted to my room. I’ve take a few trips alone and this one was really good patricianly because I just wanted to kick back and enjoy the all inclusive amenities. The food was amazing and so much choice in the number of restaurants. What I really enjoyed that all the food options were reservation free and I could just show up and eat when I wanted. The variety of entertainment was great and the property too and something for everyone.

I ended up taking a snorkelling excursion through Nexus tours too. Thats the photo of me on the yacht. It started by purchasing the package for about $60 usd from the beach side kiosk on the hotel property (I suspect you can do it through the hotel or website too). Then me and a group of people boarded a catamaran which was my first time bounding on the waves like other than my dads standard boat. We got drinks and food as a part fo the excursion and then once we got far enough out the the reef we got to go into the water and snorkel This was lead by a guide who was well educated on all safety protocol and I felt safe as a solo participant among few larger groups and couples. The cool thing with the excursion is that they had a photographer taking photos while we were on the catamaran and while we were in and under the water. Of course those were for an extra fee after we were done ($30 usd I think for digital pics).

I felt good as a black man traveling there alone and met lots of people that wanted to hang out while I was there. I really was there just to chill alone but knowing that I had the option was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I’m planning to go back again to the party strip with some friends next year. I definitely say Cancun is a great spot and the the Mexican people I met, despite being employees of the hotel were genuine and welcoming.Definitely Recommend!!!!!!

I travelled to Cancun with three friends in celebration of my birthday.
We stayed maybe 5 minutes from Zona Hotelera in a hotel called Sina Suites. The hotel is in a quiet but beautiful neighborhood.

On the hotel zone, you will find lots of tour vendors, with reasonable prices but be sure to shop around. We were able to get three full day tours for about $150 USD each.
Tours consisted of ATV riding, my first time ziplining, a full day trip to Isla Mujeras, Myan City, Chichen Itza and ima swim in the
There were lots of things to do in terms of nightlife, as all of the hottest nightclubs were a 5 minute drive.
I brought in my birthday at La Vaquita which is directly across from Coco Bongo. There were drink specials all night and really good vibes.

Please feel free to check out my ig page @Dachea.Elle for pics and vids of my trip to Cancun!

Hello! We took a family trip to Cancun Mexico when our son was almost 2 years old. We stayed at the Paradisus Cancun resort and have travel clogs as well as a rook tour that can be found on our Youtube channel (The Forrester Chronicles). Paradisus Cancun is an all inclusive resort meaning drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and food are free for guests. The hotel is beautiful. The atrium is filled with vines that span about 8 stories. They have gardeners who trim the vines once a week. There are about 9 restaurants on location that include sushi, Mexican, Italian and a casual restaurant with lite fare. There’s also a buffet area that’s always open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are 3 pools on the property and also beach access. You can reserve cabanas by the pool or on the beach for about $50 per day. You have to reserve them at least one day in advance. If you and your family would like butler service that can be provided for an additional fee and the butler is available 24 hours.

There is also an adult-only side of Paradisus Cancun called Royal Service. If would like a quiet, kid-free experience while there, you can choose that option.

We would definitely choose this resort again when revisiting Cancun.

There are loads of things to do in Mexico! If you are a thrill seeker it’s worth going to the Xcaret adventure parks where you can do a wide range of activities from snorkelling, parasailing, diving and zip wire!

If you want to see the unspoilt areas and spend time on the perfect beach then I would definitely recommend a day trip to Holbox island, it’s an unspoilt island where you can get around only by a cart, motorbike or bicycle (no cars allowed!) the sand is white and the sea is crystal clear – it’s the ultimate paradise!

And of course you must see one of the seven wonders of the world! The chichen itza! It’s a long coach drive but definitely worth it! You get to learn a lot about the culture and eat lunch with local Mexicans. And of course you get the perfect instagram photo of you in front of chichen itza!

All of my tours were booked through my hotel (Gran sirenis)

I love Mexico I have been twice and I will visit again. The last time I had the opportunity to visit the Mayans Ruins in Chichen Itza. I took a bus instead of bus tour and it costed roughly $20 for round trip but I was also staying in Valladolid which is a town close to the ruins. I stayed at a hostel that was around $15 per night. My advice to anyone wanting to see the ruins without costly bus tour is to opt for a public transportation they do have AC and some even play movies

Cancun was a lot of fun. I went last year for my 24th birthday. I ziplined, swam in the cenote, rode the atv’s and much more. I will make note that when I went atv riding the tour guides mentioned that it was tarantula season!!! I didn’t even know that they had specific season. He mentioned that they do bite and showed me the scar to prove it. This was in July btw. The food wasn’t that great to me. If you really want some authentic food you have to travel outside of the tourist area. Nightlife was cool too. The clubs are outdoors though so be prepared to be hot and sweaty. Also most clubs include drinks within the entrance fee, personally since they do this I think that the drinks are very very watered down. Expect to drink twice as much as you normally do to get the same effect that you’re used to.

I visited cancun twice. Once for spring break and another for a wedding had a great time each visit. First time i stayed at the JW Marriott that was spring break the cibes was nice. The cost of things were reasonable. Night life you must go to Congo , La Vaquita, and Fat Tuesday. Congo and La Vaquita is $30 to get in with open bar. The drink are washed down with soda but hey $30 u open bar why not. They are both similar congo just has a better much selection in my opinion. Fat Tuesday is a Fat Tuesday but spring break it was fun was like an after party spot. Cancun has a main bus that goes down the strip it only cost $1 which is really good. For the wedding i stayed at the riu cancun. Its all inclusive which was a nice touch. For adventures i went on a tour zipline atv and a cave dive for i believe $60. I also went to an adventure water park and for $65 u can do it all and food was included. The had water slides, animal shows, a pool, zipline, bungee jump, and go cart. The thing i didn’t like tho was u had to pay for a tube to go in the lazy river and pay to take pictures with the animals. They made sure no phones or bags was on you. Cancun is a fun place many things to do whether its adventure or relax you can enjoy it.

One of our favorite destinations! Ever!!! Cancun has pretty much everything covered when it comes to things to do (with a large pricing spectrum, depending on what your budget is). Our favorites were surf lessons, the incredible bars in the hotel zone (along with some great, safe local spots a little further from the beach) and the eco-park, Xplor, which is not in Cancun, but you could either book online and a bus will pick you up at your hotel and then drop you off again at the end of the day. If you don’t do anything else…DO THIS! It’s an eco friendly water park, about 45 minutes away from the hotel zone, with zip lines, ATVs, cave rafting and a few more activities. The tickets may be pricey, but it includes transport, entrance, amazing food throughout the day and drinks (non-alcoholic). We found the tickets are much cheaper on their website (https://www.xplor.travel/en/). It works out to about $140 per person and includes the transport to and from the resort, all activities in the park & meals and drinks.

Cancun was very fun because I went with friends during the summer. We spent most of the trip on the beach relaxing. It was very affordable and fun to go out at night. I regret not exploring more of Cancun because or group just stayed near our hotel, but it was a good trip overall.

Can’t go wrong with Cancun! Each time I stayed in Cancun (Twice total… two different hotels and types of vacas; girls trip and romantic trip) I loved it! Such a great location for partying and nightlife, you can’t go wrong with the infamous CoCo Bongo but several great options in the same area should you want to skip the sometimes massive crowd). Mexican food is a personal fav of mine so the food both on and off of the resort was a hit in my opinion. The weather was great for me with one hour of rain only on one day (visited during the months of March & July). The beaches were nice however, the seaweed can be a bit much some days but the hotel staff I experienced were working to clean it up regularly. Hotels, food, nightlife to accommodate all types of vacations so bring the kids if ya want! :)

    Hotels I vacationed with:
Temptation Cancun Resort: this hotel is great for a girls trip or romantic getaway, definitely would not bring the parents as this hotel is geared toward couples and adult fun. Property is adults only , neon parties, pajama night and costume parties are a few things taking place during on resort night life. And the main reason this resort is popular is that they allow you to go topless on the resort and beach. More on the inexpensive side as I was able to book this location $120 per night.

Secrets the Vince Cancun: This property is definitely geared towards couples, romantic rooms with open bathroom floor plan, small intimate restaurants and more of a boutique hotel style mixed with resort all inclusive options. Not a large nightlife option, karaoke/smoke bar and a few hotel shows every other night all ending midnight or earlier. Would recommend for lowkey relaxing romantic vacations and leave for nightlife if needed and able. Hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. This hotel is more on the pricey side at about $200 and up a night which is the rate I was able to get.

Mexico was inexpensive. Definitely budget friendly. Hospitality was ok traveling as a black female. Weather is ok, I traveled in April but wasnt that hot. Water was kinda choppy. Plenty of neat excursions. I suggest taking the bus downtown Cancun for local food, shopping and clubbing. Coco bongo was located downtown. I would go back, but no time so!

I’ve been to Mexico 3 times. It’s a cheap place to go and it’s lots of fun. I am definitely a Mexican food lover and tequila is my favorite drink. So this is the place for me. The resort food was delicious and it had lots of different tequilas that’s not in America. I went to a restaurant off the resort and it had the best guacamole that I have ever tasted. The customer service was great and they treated me like a celebrity. We went to eat one night at a restaurant on the resort. They didn’t serve any alcohol. I jokingly said to the waiter to bring me some tequila from his secret stash. The waiter went to another restaurant and brung back a whole bottle for me. I was so excited and I gave him a tip. He got so excited about the tip I gave him that he told the manager about it. The manager came over to our table and told me because I was generous that he would cook me up something special and for me not to eat off the menu. He came back with different types of soups and steak. All the customers kept looking at my table wondering where I got it from. Needless to say we stayed until closing and my girlfriend was so drunk I had to carry her to the room.

One of the funnest nights ever

Cancun has numerous options for accommodations. One of my favorite resorts in the city is Live Aqua. The Adults Only Resort sits on beautiful Caribbean Beach in the Hotel Zone. The service and dining are equally excellent. This resort is also in an ideal location convenient to premiere shopping, nightlife and entertainment.

Cancun, Mexico! Fun, affordable, relaxing. The beach in Cancun is beautiful blue water, the night life is spread out all thru out the hotel zone, and the food is good! I stayed at RIU all inclusive and was able to go onto all the RIU’s in the city and enjoy there food, drinks, and pool for free. Highly recommend. Wouldn’t recommend wondering off into the city, stay in hotel zone they have everything you need.

While traveling to Mexico with 2 of my girlfriends for 4 days, we had a great time!! We ate, drank, partied, relaxed on the beach, swam in the pool, had messages on the beach and the list goes on and on. There are literally a ton of things to do and you will never get board. The resort had a daily list posted of activities that were going on everyday. We took a bike tour with a group of people to a near by town and got a little history lesson while there. We were also able to shop for an allotted amount of time before meeting back up with the group to head back to the resort. This was a great experience to bike ride through a local town and leave the resort to see how the people of Mexico live. We also took a bus tour to Chichen Itza to see the archeological site and that was another great history lesson about the Mayans and their culture and the sites there are incredible!! I would definitely recommend booking any tour there. (bit of advice, it is VERY hot and there is no shade when visiting Chichen Itza).

If you’re just starting out with traveling Cancun is the perfect place to start your first journey. Absolutely worth it, the nightlife at Coco Bongo, senor frog’s, fat Tuesday and a few hotels. How could you go wrong. Not to mention the affordability. Been to Mexico three times and it’s all been amazing. We took the bus downtown Cancun and at anytime it was filled with people. Great nightlife and bang for your buck.

I loved Cancun! The people there are amazing. It was one of the most affordable vacations I’ve been on. Transportation is expensive there though. I ended up renting a car from the airport Avis for $60 a day.
We booked the activities on viator.com. We did the Atv ride, zip lines, and C-note tour. It was so much fun !!!! Also went on a jet boat tour and that was pretty neat! Overall if you have a tight budget but really want to go on vacation I would definitely recommend Cancun

This was a solo trip for me. I stayed at the Riu. This was a wonderful experience. First and foremost… order transportation (shuttle bus) online. I suggest thru Shuttle now (I believe that’s the name- there logo is blue)or thru Expedia. You will save so much money. They’ll just need your reservation number. Same for excursions-book online thru Expedia. If you choose not too book online the people to book excursion will be by the performance stage daily. Quick tip-bring lots of $1’s. Great for tipping. There is a bus that travel up and down the strip. It’s only $1. If you don’t do anything else do the ChiChen Itza tour. Bring lots of money, water, comfy shoes and a swimsuit. Its a wonderful tour. To get authentic Mexican good you must get out of the tourist area of Cancun. Overall it’s great tip with friend or as a solo traveler. Oh, and most ppl do know English. So no language barriers there…

BEST SOLO TRIP EVER. I stayed at Hotel Tres Soles Apartments ($57/night) and had the time of my life. I worked with Local Expert who set up all of my excursions. I did everything from jumping in a sink hole, ATV’s, zip lining to an awesome catamaran with tons of tequila at the beautiful location of Isla Mujeres. Everyone was friendly but PLEASE be aware of your finances. Isla Mujeres gives out tons of tequila samples and you will get hustled immediately after because there are SO many shops on the strip. Also, definitely rent the $20 golf carts… wonderful experience. The local connect that I worked with Luiza Robles from Local Expert. She was very efficient, had excellent communication, and arranged transportation for me the whole entire trip. Her contact information via WhatsApp is +52 1 998 577 0898 and her email address is localexpert013@mexicotravelsolutions.com

Ive been to Mexico several times. If you want something affordable with not a lot of time to plan, I would say Mexico is the place to go. My favorite places to stay at are Breathless and TRS. Both are luxury and affordable. At Breathless my favorite part was the foam party. It was great music food and people. It was a party atmosphere but luxury at the same time. At TRS I stayed in the private pool suite. The room and pool were both very spacious. It also provided a butler who made all dinner reservations. I didn’t see any other black people there besides us, but still had lots of fun nonetheless.

    I definitely would recommend Mexico!

I spent 5 days in Cancun Mexico in January, the purpose of my trip was to relax and enjoy life away from the everyday hustle and bustle of the DMV. I booked the trip for my daughter and I. We stayed in a ocean front property (Westin) right off the main road of the hotel zone, however it was on the lower level of the road away from the party zone and drunken crowds! Just being able to chill and relax on the beach with a bar a stone throw away made the whole trip wonderful. The staff was amazing, always asking if there was something that they could get for you so you could enjoy your vacation to the fullest. The only thing that I didn’t really pay attention to was that was the part of the hotel zone where the water can get pretty rough, so you honestly wouldn’t go past your knees in the water if you weren’t a strong swimmer because of the strong current. Needless to say there were days the waves weren’t that bad. The food and the whole atmosphere was great. I would suggest stepping off the resort to try local food versus eating hotel food the whole time.

I visited Cancun October 2018 and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. This was an all-inclusive resort directly on the beach. The had a swim-up bar and foam party at the pool. Definitely a fun trip for parties! The food at the resort was high quality and the service was great. The hotel helped us get discounted tickets to Coco Bongo to experience the nightlife in the city. We also got discounted ticked to go flyboarding and ride a jet pack.

Cancun Mexico is one of my favorite long weekend getaways, No matter how many times you visit you will always find something to do! I splurged a little for my trip and booked an all-inclusive trip including flights but even so the trip was pretty inexpensive. I paid a $590 per person for 4 days including our flights. The hotel is called the hotel casa maya and I booked it through Expedia. Make sure that you book your excursions at the main pier NEVER WITH YOUR HOTEL we did a tour a Chichen itza ( The 7 wonder Mayan temple ) and only paid $25 bucks a person including the bus ride over, the hotel tried to charge us $200. Also did an excursion where we got to ride our own personal speed boat through Cancun and that was pretty lit, paid about $55 for that. If you haven’t taken a flight to Cancun yet I don’t know what you’re waiting for, I mean who wouldn’t want to check one of the 7 wonders off their bucket list.

Cancun is definitely an easy vacation decision as it is close by many popular American cities and it is cheap! The beaches are beautiful and the food is great. I would definitely stay on a resort for safety. Make sure to visit Chichen-itza since it is one of the seven wonders. Don’t worry about it being over crowded cause there is enough time to find less crowded spots to take pics as the tour buses leave and return. I would only recommend for a quick weekend getaway!

Took this trip as a party trip. Stayed at the aloft hotel($90 a night) aloft had hotel parties as well as bars you can go to. Downtown is 10 mins walk from the hotel to save money.. there are many clubs to go to the one i went to the most was called coco bongo.. fun, cheap drinks and nice hispanic music and a few american songs would get prinkled.. one thing to not is that they charge americans a different price than the locals for club entry.. most places were 10 pesos for residence and $35 for americans or europeans.. Tip number one better to not travel alone at night alot of ppl are drinking any you never know what csn happen tip number two keep some type of translator with you i like the google translate app if you do not know spanish.. mostly everyone speaks Spanish.. but i had a great time didnt run into any problems

For Cancun I booked my whole trip through cheapcarribean.com and stayed at the GR Solaris, it was chaper to book the flight and hote together rather than separately. The resort overall was really nice and was all inclusive with loca liquors. Cancun once off the resort was extremely expensive when it came to nightlife and prices were similar to what you would pay in Miami when it came to drinks. I think the best bang for your buck is fat Tuesday’s where they had bottomless drinks for $40. The beaches were extremely beautiful but there are tons of locals trying to sell you things. Cancun seemed more like a part of the United States since everything was Americanized. Overall good time but do not think I would go back.

Quick trip. Literally just 2 hours away from my location so perfect for a long weekend.

Not expensive. Cheap options for an all inclusive.

Perfect for an all girls trip .

If you are solely looking for fun this is it.

Great combo between beautiful beaches, pyramids , sightseeing and fun.

    Must see / Go:
    1. NightLife: To party you can go to: Zona Hotelera. It’s a strip with several clubs, restaurants and hotels. The clubs I liked: Coco Bongo ( since everyone recommended it) and La Vaquita. I loveeeed La Vaquita because it was a great mix of reggaeton, Spanish pop, and hip hop.

Cancun, Cancun, Cancun, was a better experience than I thought. I decided to celebrate my birthday 2 years ago, and it wasn’t my 1st choice because I felt like this destination was a bit played out. My mindset was too have fun, but I felt I missed the good ole MTV Cancun days and it wouldn’t be fun. Boy was I wrong, I had a great time with me and my homie. We had a great hotel walking distance from all the bars, restaurants, and night life that was happening. Food was definitely on point, epecially the seafood and burritos. Weather was real humid in the month of August, however the beaches were clear, blue and relaxing. I did some cool things like, swam with a whale shark, skydive in a wind tunnel, zip-line across a forest, rode ATVs throughout the dirt roads, traveled through a Cenote cave, got to see pyramids, petted the dolphins, fed tiger sharks at the aquarium, and tasted fresh brewed Tequila at a factory in Quintana Roo. The whale shark experience was surreal, I went with a company out there called Best Divers Tours found them at the canopy next to my condo, which was at the Ocean Dreams Condo. Awesome balcony view of the water. There are a ton of kiosks that promote different tours, I did a 1/2 day tour for around $150. My Sky Dive and ATV tours were done with Selvatica Adventure Tours, the staff there was very helpful and cool, costs were a little over $100 for an all day tour. You can purchase a recap video of the tour they provide for an additional $60. The nightlife scene was cool, party after party and all the people were cool. Some locals and lot of visitors in the tourist part of town. Music was pretty Live, as Mexicans are Americanized to the point where they fully embrace American and the Hip Hop culture. Due to the fact I was able to do so much within 5 days made this trip a true birthday to remember and a great time.

I spent my time in Cancun on a solo 5 day trip for Christmas. It was beyond amazing. It was my first time there and the fact that i was solo made me a little guarded but once i landed and checked into my Air b n b (which btw was only $110 for 5days in downtown Cancun) I was off and running. So much to see and do i can’t wait to go back!! Im a huge foodie and if you are too … PLEASE try every place that anyone says is good. local spots are cheaper than eating at a resort/hotel so don’t be afraid. I also traveled to playa de carmen by way of the (long-distance) ADO bus ($8) i ventured around and even did a fish pedicure for $10 and took ferries to two islands ( they were around 15-20 roundtrip each day) … Cozumel and isle Mujeres. @ Isle Mujeres …Try the mango cafe on the island for breakfast and lunch at La Choza on the Cozumel Island. Also you can’t miss eating at LA Parilla in downtown Cancun. Food is amazing and Its entertaining as well. The hotel Zone has a great beach called define as well as great shopping and a ferris wheel you ride that has incredible views at night. All the locals were very helpful and i really felt safe and comfortable to the point were i started taking the local bust halfway thru my trip (80 cents) instead of taxis!! Id return in a heartbeat and i can’t wait to explore more.

Word of advice, GO TO MEXICO! It’s such a beautiful and colorful place. I went to Cancun and stayed in a Airbnb away from the tourist zone and it was soooo nice. The cost to visit is so cheap, the entire time I was there I never spent more that 5/10 dollars to eat a mecca of food. When your in the city you can get tacos for .60! The beaches are beautiful and to get from one area to another is pretty easy. I would definitely get the translator app if you’re not fluent in Spanish, it saved me with ordering food and getting around. The one draw back is that I didn’t see a lot of black people, mind you I went last week which is February so maybe we were all in another area lol. I plan on going back to Mexico, it’s so much more I want to do and see, I’d definitely recommend a visit. Here’s the awesome Airbnb/Hotel I stayed in https://abnb.me/j5FprjdVfW !

I was able to see Mexico because it was one of my stops on my Caribbean cruise journey. Mexico is absolutely stunning. The water at the beaches are super blue and clean. The temperature of the water is perfect. Not too hot or too cold. Snorkeling was a blast and the fish were super friendly and pretty. I could not get enough of the food as well.

Being in Cancun was hands down one of the best spur of the moment trips taken. I had no real itinerary but going so much to do. The absolute best part was taking the ferry to Isla Mujeres and golf carting around the island. There’s a lighthouse, tons of local food to enjoy, shopping, beaches to die for and even a sea turtle rescue farm where you can see many different turtles, even babies! It was so worth the trip and very affordable

I planned a quick getaway during the Christmas break to Akumal, south of Cancun. I was a tad nervous as this was my first time in Mexico & my first time as a solo travel. My fear was in vain because let me tell you I had a time! I stayed at the Secrets Akumal resort and they did not disappoint. This 5 star all inclusive resort really caters to your needs; from the assortment of menus and a la cartes restaurants, to the luxury suites, this place was amazing! The only hiccup was that I was one of very few black guests on the resort & I don’t know if it was just me, but I seemed to get a few stares here and there.. not sure what was up, but nonetheless the wait & bar staff were very hospitable. There are also many picturesque views and backdrops for photo opportunities as well. Oh, and there’s no need to be fearful about safety; during my trip I had no safety concerns & there was security all around. In future, I will definitely attempt an excursion, as I feel more at ease about going off the resort :)

I was there two years ago for a very short trip. This time I stay 3 days and I really enjoy it. A lot of things change for the better. When I arrive at the reception the welcoming smile of Catherine made me so Happy to be a Club Med again. Love my room, the food, they built a brand new buffet. (the lights was a little too bright for me). The show was Amazing. The video wall on stage make Such a difference and I was very impress by performance of Adeline, the Assistante Chef of Village. (She will be a Great Chef). The energy of the GO’s team was outstanding.

Ok so let me just tell y’all, this place is so beautiful! Inclusive resort hotels with oceanfront views is to die for! The men hollered out at you every chance they had. My one complaint is to put ALL OF YOUR VALUBABLES IN THE SAFE! We had did a quick stop to a store and left some change in our bags in the room. Housekeeping came in, went through our bags and took our money. The denied coming to our room even though it was cleaned through. One worker told us ever since Trump is our president, they treat Americans like trash.

The Yucatan peninsula is a great place to experience the history and natural beauty of Mexico. From Chichen Itza and Valladolid, to the ruins of Tulum and over 200 Cenotes in the area, there is plenty to choose from.
Me and my partner decided to visit here as a mini vacation away from home and loved every minute of it, no matter how nuanced some situations were. Due to the location and pre and post-columbian history, this makes for an awesome adventure. We try to steer away from visiting beach-only destinations as it can become a little repetitive, especially since we live within easy reach of beaches. When choosing destinations; we base it on activities, things to do, affordability, and attractions. Although we hardly consider ourselves being touristic, we do enjoy visiting historical sites before venturing through local residences and eating at hole-in-the-walls. Mexico was the closest and most affordable location we could find for the duration of 5 days; seeing as we now live in a country that believes 2 out of 52 weeks in the year is sufficient to recoup from the rat race.
Regardless, we took advantage, learned, and loved every minute of it. The beaches, sunsets, and romantic locations set the tone on many occassions and the privacy of renting a car is better (and probably cheaper) than being crammed into the space of a bus with other travellers, although the idea of meeting new people is something I’d welcome any other time.
Be sure to check out Kin Toh for those picture-perfect shots and beautiful sunset with your loved one and Cenote Suytun to take that memorable kissing pic on the platform.
    :)

I visited Cancun Mexico in October and it was beautiful!!! I stayed at The Excellence Resort (all inclusive) and the resort was absolutely AMAZING!! The room was EVERYTHING, Food was EVERYTHING, Staff was EXCELLENT, the beach was AMAZING!! I would not have been mad if I didn’t get to do a single thing while there but stay at the resort lol! We took a private day trip (set up with the resorts concierge) to Chichen Itza (one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world) and Cenote Ik Kil. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much while we were there!! I would definitely recommend visiting Cancun!!!

Cancun is by far one of my favorite getaways!! I traveled to Quintana Roo Cancun solo and did the all inclusive adult only at the RIU palace right off the beach. Cancun is a party city! So many clubs and bars to hit up in the city and they party all night. Ive met so many friends here that I still keep in contact with today. The nightlife can get quite expensive if you’re not careful. Guys also beware of trannys because they are out there! Also it can get dangerous if you’re not aware of your surroundings I wouldn’t stray too far off. The water is ok, I think Cozumel water is a bit better. There’s also lots of excursions and cool historic tours to take. Definitely would recommend Cancun if you’re looking for fun!

I visited Cancun and it was all day fun. I did the local stuff and ride the local bus from my hotel to the bar areas..
The Hyatt Cancun Caribe was excellent.

I rented a car and drove throughout Mexico. Stayed in Downtown Cancun at Oh!Urban Oasis. Pretty hotel, large rooms, and beautiful pool area with multiple private hot tubs. In the afternoon and evening, there is a live band at the pool area. For food, I walked to local restaurants in the area. Went to a local block party with music and food trucks. Playa Delfines is nice and relaxing. Rented a beach bed and went jet skiing. There is a beach bar and restaurant also. Went to one of the mega clubs and had a good time. I did a day trip to Chichen Itza and Cenote Ik Kil. At the ruins, there are guides for hire. The guide was really thorough and shared interesting stories with us about the Mayans. There are vendors on site to purchase souvenirs and drinks. The water was cold at the cenote and there were small fishes in the water. Life jackets and lockers were available to rent. There is a spot for cliff jumping. I also went on a day trip to a pink lagoon late afternoon. It is best to go morning or noon, in order to see the lagoon at it’s brightest color. There are guides, but it is easy to find on your own. The surrounding area has a fishing area and farmland. I also took a cooking class in Puerto Morelos. Cooked chicken pibil, handmade tortillas, panuchos (refried beans stuffed tortilla), several salsas, and more. This was a fun class. I would do it again. Puerto Morelos has a cute waterfront area in their central plaza. It’s a nice area to people watch, look at local fishermen, and observe birds.

Cancun is all about partying. It reminds me most of Vegas. I went to Cancun for a college spring break (couldn’t be more cliche, but we had a blast). Our days consisted of being on the beach all day drinking bottomless pina coladas, to going out to clubs as night. If you don’t enjoy partying, this is not the place for you. I honestly felt bad for the families staying at our hotel as the lobby and beach was packed with college kids. Perhaps visiting in months outside of March/April would provide a different experience.

Cancun is a place everyone should visit atleast once! Mexico has a heart beat if it’s own and Cancun is definitely proof of that. When I stayed in Cancun my friend and I decided to not do the resort stay so we stayed in a Airbnb about 15 mins on a bus from the main strip. It was the best decision ever. We were more immersed in the local culture and local food which the cerviche was the Bomb! If your someone who likes to have a real feel for the culture I suggest going the Airbnb route.

My bestie and I went to Cancun in May of 2017. We were both unaware that Cancun’s slogan was, “We put Vegas nightlife to shame.” And they honestly really do. There is a strip in downtown Cancun where there are multiple clubs and you can bar hope. This area is very Americanized but it still fun. Music was live and drinks were good. Definitely a good place for a girls and/or guys party trip.

Was here not too long ago for a bachelor party weekend. Stayed at the Riu Cancun in the hotel zone. Not a bad deal at all. I’d avoid Airbnbs right now, as the crime has ramped up recently due to cartel activity, and they’re more prone to being attacked. What they don’t tell you is that you get access to any Riu property with your wristband at check-in. The Riu Palace Las Americas was right next door, so we spent time over there as well. The resort food wasn’t great, but doable. But we didn’t care because we were right in the middle of all the action. We booked jet skis and a boat cruise to Isla Mujeres straight through our hotel rep. Hella lit! We missed the cenotes & Chichen Itza due to time, but we hit the strip every night. Certain clubs were a little sketchy. But solid choices were The City & La Vaquita. We actually went to La Vaquita 2 nights, and got open bar tickets for each night, that were $30 each. Liquor was watered down though, but in huge styrofoam cups lol. Had a twerk contest that was lit. taxis to get around were very reasonable, but negotiate prices. Cancun has something for everyone, and I have to go back, even if for nothing but Chichen Itza. But next time, I’ll definitely stay at a better resort.

Cancun 2018!!! For my friends and myself, that’s a power statement. It’s the kinda statement no matter who was talking and what they were saying, they will stop and slowly start smiling from ear to ear and be like “Yooooooo” as they shake their heads and start reminiscing. But, even before I start sharing my experiences, let’s talk price. I flew into Cancun from New York City, and prices were about $120 one way. My accommodation was only $250 for 4 days 3 nights. And I’m not talking a lil habitacion or un cuarto with mom and dad and the little dog Gordito running around. I stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancun, all inclusive, 5 star resort, within an upgraded luxury suite with private swim out pool. The food was unchallenged, I had street food for the times I went off the resort and the resort food was better. It also helped that the resort had authentic Mexican food prepared local Mexicans working at the resort. They were so legit I had to use Google translate and sign language to take a record a story with them for the gram while they were grilling my tacos. They didn’t care if I was traveling while black, they barely cared if I was traveling while broke. I had no issues due to color, nor did my friends. We are a very colorful group with many shades of black.

As far as activities, we went Chichen-Itza, Samaal Cenote, and Valladolid. I can clearly see why, Chichen-Itza is a 7 Wonder of the New World. There is so much History, Religion, Politics, Astrology, Mathematics, Art and Creativity, and ultimiately Power/Control in that one Magnificent Pyramid. Cenotes are a must! They’re so unqiue you’d wanna catch em all, with dozens of them all over, so research online and choose which is best suits your desires. Some have cliffs you can jump off, some are shallow, some are completely underground with only a tiny hole at the top, some you can dive and snorkel, some are better for the gram (-; Samaal Cenote is beautiful, it is about 40 m deep which means you NEED a life vest and renting one is only $1 and it also means you can leap of the pier that is definitely more 20 ft high. I didn’t bring my ruler so don’t quote me on that. Apart from that the views were beautiful, this definitely one of the best cenotes to visit.
Valladollid was a great complementary stop. It offers a unique and colorful twist. It’s way different from Playa del Carmen which is more modern. A lot of local live and thrive there, so there’s little influence from the US in its rapid modernization. Definitely a must if you want to experience regional Mexican culture.
All three activities were only $41 plus the $1 for the life vest. That was a huge come up. It included access/entrenace, transportation, and buffet lunch. For more info you can DM on IG (evr_blessed) or email brandon@iambrandonwagner.com

I visited Mexico for the first time this past June for a solo trip. My goal was to visit the ruins at Chichen Itza and Tulum. Being that i was traveling solo, i made sure to book tours to visit both. I booked a Combo tour one day that took me to Chichen Itza and a Cenote and another tour one day that included Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del carmen. I booked them with mycancuntours.com. The tours were reasonably priced and well worth it for a solo traveler. Got the chance to meet alot of new people that were also apart of the tour group. All the tours included transportation to and from your hotel (as long as its within the hotel zone) , a meal and drinks.

Chichen Itza was a site to see. Pictures dont do it any justice. Learning all the history of how and why it was built was great. Its one of the seven wonders i think everyone should try to visit.

Cancun itself was very cheap. I had safety concerns with the airbnb i booked, which i didnt realize until i landed and spoke to my cab driver. He advised the area i booked wasnt safe for a solo traveler. I was easily able to find an affordable hotel in the hotel zone that same night. Within the hotel zone its very safe. Theres cops everywhere 24/7. Apart from that, i felt pretty safe with the group i was with and travelling outside of the hotel zone.

Cancun is full of adventures, while there I was able to go ziplining at night at Xplor Park, was able to enjoy the beautiful water and sights of Xel ha. And for history I was able to go to Chichén Itzá and see the beauty this place holds, there’s something for everyone young or old and it will be a guaranteed good time.

If you are looking to party all night long then Cancun is the place for you. I went to Cancun for my 21st and had the time of my life! There are tons of clubs to get to in Cancun. Make sure you speak to someone in regards to where to go and on what night….each club has a specific night of the week in which they are the place to be. I stayed at the Riu Cancun which was great because we were a walking distance from the strip.
We also visited the Chichen Itza Ruins in Yucatan which was a great experience. The specific tour we chose also took us to swim in a underground natural pool which they call Cenote.
We also did Xplor at night time, this is a great place for people seeking adventure. They have 12 different lines for zip-lining.

I stayed at the Nizuc Resort and Spa in Cancun and it was AMAZING! I’ve been to many resorts in my day but this one was the best hands down. The room was immaculate; it was very clean and spacious! We had the Master suite and it comes with its own personal pool and breathtaking view of the ocean. The customer service is really what made the hotel, they catered to our needs and was very friendly from day one. The hotel also included water sports so there was no need to leave the grounds. We did paddle boating and snorkeling; the infinity pool is to die for. We paid $1000 per person, but that included our flight, hotel and food for four nights. We left the resort grounds once to go shopping and eat authentic Mexican food at the near by galleria mall. They have nice high end stores like Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Highly recommend!!!

Cancun is a wonderful place to visit that won’t break the bank. I really enjoyed visiting El Rey Ruins. Here, I was able to view ancient Mayan buildings and got close to the iguanas roaming around for cool photos. Admission was only $2 50 USD. The people are really friendly in Mexico and the beaches are perfect for relaxing or adventure. I went jet skiing and my sister did the parasailing at the beach. Drinks were strong and I tried shrimp tostadas for the first time. They were great!

Have been there twice, once at an Air BnB called Villas Las Cupulas where a chef was available for cooking 3 meals a day, stayed with a group of 9, very close to the beach (behind Secrets of the Vine Resort). So much to do for nightlife– you wont sleep! They charge $35 at most bars/clubs to get in with open bar however the drinks are mainly juice. The beaches are beautiful. Can also rent a private catamaran to take you to Isla de Mujeres which is gorgeous white sand and blue water. Wouldn’t recommend exchanging money to pesos as everywhere takes US Dollars and it seems preferred.

Also stayed at Paradisus, a melia resort and it was fantastic! We had our own butler, premium liquor bottles in our room, Bali beds by the pool and on the beach and had an adult only option/pool area. There were also 6-7 dining options and a nightclub in the resort which was really fun at night, played all hip-hop music! Would def recommend staying at a resort vs an air bnb option to get the most bang for your buck.

Mexico Cancun is definitely a spot i would recommend to anyone looking to have a good time, we stayed in airbnb through out our trip, and rented a car as our means of transportation. Stayed in a gated community via airbnb.

This city is beautiful to look at and definitely a tourist spot, walked around and saw some of the hotels, they were beautiful with wonderful beaches behind them all linked together. The Mexican people seem to love black people. I don’t know if it was because we were black or just because we had a built squad where every one had chest and abs, but we definitely felt like celebrities. They kept stopping us for pictures lol. A lot of things to do when you speak to the people offering activities in the city centre, we did zip lining, skyboading, quad biking and senote as one deal, also went to one of the 7 woners(Chechen itza), we drove out 2 hours and paid for a tour guid to have someone tell us th history and show us around,.

Cancun is near an island called Isla mujeres and you take a ferry to this island. This island is worth checking out if you are into seeing abit more culture as it has many local food, amazing sea food and more things to do. We hired out golf styled carts which was the main form of transportation on this island. The night out is crazy fun and you get good deals on entry plus open bar . Being black, they can tell you are a tourist and you get a huge amount of people trying to sell u something. Can’t walk 2 minutes without being offered something, other than that, no negatives at all from me about Mexico Cancun.

If you are looking for an amazing all-inclusive resort to vacation with friends and family in the Cancun area, look no further!!
After trying many other resorts we have landed on Fiesta Americana. The food is great and lots of variety. The desserts in the evening were beautifully done and you could find whatever you were looking for.
Beach is outstanding, and the layout of the whole resort is well thought out. Every day we were there they had an open lunch barbecue on the pool deck.

Cancun is definitely the place to be! I have heard many mediocre reviews about Mexico but honestly I believe it is all about where you stay. This was my first time in Mexico and I stayed at the Live Aqua resort . First off , this was by far the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at. The quality of the building itself was immaculate. Vey clean, neat , and had a modern feel which I am usually a fan of. As soon as you come in, you are greeted with a drink and a free hand massage ( great after traveling for hours!). Thy were also very accommodating with my room situation. When we had arrived our room wasn’t ready so to make it up to us they put us in an ocean view instead. Most beautiful view in the morning ! Every day I woke up feeling like a queen. The hotel also had a large area of beach located behind it which was open 24 hours. But for the most part I ended up using the hotels various pools. I would say in total the hotel has about 7 different pools(including an Infiniti pool great for pics ) and a Jacuzzi. Because of the quantity , I was always able to find a good area to lay our by or swim in the pool.
As far as food goes, best experience I have ever had. Most all inclusives have buffet style restaurants which are good for serving a large amount of people and appropriate for the location. Unfortunately though I find that because of this, the quality of the food is never too high . But at Live Aqua I felt like I was fine dining whether I was eating buffet style or not. They have so many places to choose from and in my opinion all of them were great. My advice is stay long enough so you can try every single place at least once! My food was probably the best part of the trip for me !. But for sure if you are traveling to Cancun, Live Aqua is a must. It is a little expensive but definitely worth it. <3

Cancun is my go to destination if i want beautiful scenery, good food, and a good time. I have visited twice, and I’m sure there are many more visits in my future. Most recently, I visited with my 10 year old daughter celebrating her birthday! It was amazing to show her the beautiful Islands of Isla Mujeres while enjoying fresh guac. She was able to snorkel for the first time in her life ! We partied on a boat with other passengers and let the wind blow thrpugj our hair. She was able to visit the local markets where she saw handcrafted unique items. We swam in pools on our beautiful resort on the days we weren’t being entertained with festivities. It truly is a remarkable place and i would recommend anyone to see its beauty.

Cancún was a very relaxing vacation. I stayed at the Emporia Cancún Hotel for $290 for 3 days 2 nights. My flight was $260 roundtrip from BWI. The beach was so beautiful with clear blue water. The weather was perfect. I went to Dolphin Discovery in Isla Mujeres where I interacted with the dolphins. I took a picture at the Cancún Sign. They had a nice shopping mall with my favorite stores. This trip was much needed.

I went to Cancun back in March and it was amazing. I went during spring break so the vibe was high energy 24/7. My favorite part was the excursion I went on. I went to see the ancient Mayan Ruins about 2 hrs away (the tour guides made the time fly by). During the tour we went to Chichen Itza and then went to a park where they fed us delicious authentic Mexican buffet. Capped it off by swimming in a gorgeous cenote (w/ life jackets). The trip was so much fun. I’d definitely go back.

When on our way from the airport straight to the hotel resort, our taxi drivers suggested some tour guides my friends and I stumbled upon Cancun Adventures. We had a few questions and were able to chat with him. They were so helpful when trying to find out if the tour group would pick us up from our hotel, cost, etc. So I booked our tour for Tulum, Coba and printed out the confirmation prior to our arrival in Cancun.

They picked us up from our hotel at the exact time listed on the confirmation and we were off. On the bus ride both Jesus and Manuel informed us of the Mayan culture, language, area, etc. The tour included visiting a cenote for some swimming, buffet style lunch, and tour of Tulum Ruins. It was a great adventure.

Cancun was really a fun place that I would recommend for the nightlife. I stayed at the Riu Palace Las Americas Resort which was right on the strip and so convenient. I paid about $1,060.00 including Delta round trip flights and ground transfers to the hotel and back. The nightlife in Cancun is everything. We were in walking distance from the party strip and there was a street of open clubs that you could choose from. We paid about $25 to go in and have open bar in the club and it was lit! I participated in excursions as well including ATVs, cave exploring, and zip lining. I would def recommend Cancun for a trip, I had fun and would go back again.

Visited Cancun for a friend’s wedding vow renewal and it was a great couple of days.
Stayed in the hotel zone which is exactly that, dozens and dozens of hotels and resorts lined up along the beach which could get a bit crowded but provided tons of experiences offered by them.
Just on the other side of the major road was the El Rey Archaelogical Zone which provided some near my history of the area and it’s people.
If you’re in the southern part of the strip, I highly suggest to grab breakfast from KM 19.5
Taking the inexpensive bus to the northern most point of the hotel zone leads you to all the clubs that are full and exciting any night that you’re there.

I absolutely love Cancun. Mexico is beautiful, inexpensive, and hella fun! We’ve actually been there twice. Our experience was even better the 2nd time. Last time we stayed at the Now Jade Riviera Cancun all inclusive hotel. It was beautiful. We had a suite since it was our 10 year vow celebration. We had a group of 12 and the hotel accommodated everyone’s needs and surpassed our expectations. Beautiful resort, great food, and impeccable customer service. We did so many activities. Their Spa is TO DIE FOR! Sauna, pool, 80 minute massages, the fish spa pedicure (really cool), etc. We were there all day! All the services were great. For activities, we did the Speed Boat and Snorkel tour, Xplor, parasailing, and day trip to Isla Mujeres by boat ride. Xplor has ziplining, under water cave swimming, and ATV’s. We did them all and loved it. Lorenzillos is a seafood restaurant that you MUST try. All in all, its it’s a beautiful place, and you’ll have a blast if you go.

This is by far my top island to go to for partying. Especially for spring break (mid to end of March). There was nothing but constant partying at the 5/6 different clubs on the strip that they had to offer. The parties were exactly like what I watched on MTV growing up during their coverage of spring break. Endless drinks, endless people, great music. Majority of the parties you pay $35/$40 for a night of fun with bottomless drinks. My colleg spring break to Cancun still ranks as the best party trip I’ve taken of all time.

The beaches and nightlife here are key diversions for solo trip for Cancun. But the area also earns praise for cultural activities like Chichén Itzá and the turtle farms of Isla Mujeres. I could not get enough of Isla Mujeres!!If there’s extra time, consider taking a day trip to nearby Tulum to see some of the best preserved Mayan ruins in all of Mexico. How i rank Things to Do.

I have been to Cancun twice. I just got back from a Birthday trip and I absolutely love it there! For you solo travelers, my first time visiting was alone. I highly recommend if this is your first time visiting to stay in the Hotel Zone. The hotel zone is filled with beautiful all inclusive hotels. Essentially everything is right there and you don’t need to leave your resort for much. There’s lots of tourist attractions, excursions and shopping right there in that area. During Spring and Summer there are lots of clubs and parties surrounding the Hotel Zone that are absolutely everything! Strongly recommend Cancun.

Reccomend Xoximilco! It’s a 3 hour party on a small boat. You can get a round trip from the hotel zone for about $100 USD so it’s great to go with a large group. We had our security person at Villa Del Mar order a taxi for 8 of us. It was an amazing experience. They load up the boat with snacks and bottles of tequila and you dance and play games.

LIT LIT LIT, just got back 1 day ago and I want to be back. Everyone was nice, it wasn’t scary (like trumps likes to try to say) so GO. The water is beautiful, the food was bangin. A couple of people in my group had stomach aches at one point or another so definetly bring Pepto. We did the “dancer cruise” ITS AMAZING. And an evening boat tour that introduced me to the magic of tequila and coffee lol. Go to Cancun it’s LIT

Viva La Mexico Viva La Mexico!!! I just came back from Mexico last week, I’ve visited twice and both times were great!!

The first time I went with the girls Where we turnt up, did tours and just had the time of our lives ??

This time I went with my family. Hubby and I took the kids for a quick getaway. We stayed at the Marriott Cancun Resort. We spent a full day at Ventura Park. They swam with the dolphins, ziplined, they have free food a bar on site Water rides roller coasters they have everything for all ages.

I highly recommend staying in the Hotel Zone because it’s packed with so much to do. All culture foods omg so much to chose from. And the people were really nice. Both times were fun.

I love that Cancun offer American food options along with Mexican options. One of my favorites places in Cancun is a restaurant called Navios. It’s traditional food that tastes amazing. The plates are about $15-$30usd. The restaurant is a beautiful place if you are looking for dinner and a view also!

Cancun Cancun Loveee it. Every time I visit I have a blast. I took Jetblue direct from NYC. While there I visited the Chichen Itza and xplor Park. I would recommend visiting xplor Park during the evening hours. So much fun zip lining in the night.

Cancun is the cheapest place I’ve ever traveled. I’ve been there three times for this very reason. Excursions wil run you 25 USD. Food on average is 5 USD. Taxis are 5 USD. Clubs are unlimited alcohol + admission for 25 USD. Make sure you convert to pesos! We did this and our money stretched. The most important thing to remember when traveling to Cancun is to BARGAIN. There are millions of salespeople selling excursions, club packages etc. You set your price trust me you will find someone who will match it. We went ziplining, ATV and swimming in a cenote excursion with unlimited alchibol and food for 30$ USD. Some of our peers on the excursion paid upwards of 100$ USD for the same excursion on Viator! The nightlife is amazing. In my opinion CocoBongo is very overrated. It is too packed, the drinks are watered down and I wasn’t into the show. Me and my friends prefer VACA and the club right next to it! They play hip hop all night, the drinks are strong as hell and hookah is 10$! BTW Cancun is not a baecation ;) totally a girls trip or a guys getaway!

I have visited Cancun three times and you cannot visit Mexico without going to Coco Bongo night club. If you stay in Cancun the taxi to there is around 5 USD. Cancun is very affordable, one reason I’ve been there three times. I highly recommend resorts: the Royalton, Hideaway or Ocean Maya Royale!

Cancún has it all (and for such a low price you really can’t beat it)! From watersports, white sand beaches, bars, great restaurants, jungle tours (atvs, cenotes, ziplining). If you are looking for relaxation or adventure then this is the place to be.

Cancun Mexico has all the things you need to enjoy your vacation from the sandy beaches to nice restaurants and awesome night life . We visited one of the 7 wonders of the world: the Chichen Itza and we ate Mayan food and learned about the culture. We also enjoyed the night life in the Hotel Zone, the parties and sightseeing was amazing!

It was an amazing week in Cancun during the Memorial Week. There is so much to do. I’ve went snorkeling for the first time in my life. For someone who cannot swim I was so happy I chose to go through with that activity. Cancun is lovely. The beaches are beautiful. Night life is amazing. Would defiantly recommend.

The Grand Krystal Cancun.!! The hotel has a resort style feel to it. VERY VERY CLEAN! I got an oceanview room and we literally woke up to the beautiful beach every morning! Tip: don’t sleep with the door open is there is a chance of rain. We love the natural sound of the ocean and slept with the door open and the mist was sooo thin we barely felt it, but woke up drenched. But you can lay out on the beautiful white sand beach! The water was a beautiful light blue color almost clear!! The area is not over crowded in December, the wait staff caters to your every need! They offered us everything from fruit to champagne to help us enjoy our time out in the cabanas. Not to mention, the food was amazing! Our waiter suggested civeche for us and it was fresh and extremely good! I was nervous about eating the tortillas cjips near the ocean because of the birds, however they never bothered us! The waitstaff brings your food and drink out to you in a timely fashion and are very polite! Our servers name was hervik Lopez and he was the most pleasant person and waiter I’ve ever had! he offered us services and did not make us feel forced to get anything but the way he sold it to us made us want it! so yes we paid 125$ for a bottle of Moet , to have mamosas at their amazing infinity pool! He even threw in complimentary souvenir hats, cold towels in the heat and took pictures of us when we struggled with our selfies! Overall , the Grand Krystal Cancun is my all time favorite resort/ hotel. I almost forgot, there is a fine dining restaurant downstairs, and I wish I would I have done the all inclusive because the food was delicious and by the time we looked at our bill , we regret not doing the all- inclusive! It is located on the end of the strip! We walked 4minutes and were in the heart of the party area of Cancun!

I was in Cancun after Thanksgiving, we were at the Marriott Resort in the “zona Hotelera” i felt very safe and inside of the hotel an agency helped us to find out all the activities we needed . You have a jacuzzi, private beach , swimming pool and If you like nature and adventure I advise you to try for one day the Xenoss we were doing activities in the jungle it was great and so nice view . A lot of adrenaline and your meal is included ! If you want to swing with dolphins I advice you the Dolphins discovery At Islas mujeres . It was an amazing trip and unforgettable memories !

I really like Cancun because of how close it is the Mayan Pyramids of Chichen Itza. If you’re a negro for sure this is definitely eye opening. The Bonampak murals show you so many pictures of Black people you aren’t exposed to by general advertisement. Well worth the trip. A beach experience and great sight seeing. The weather in Cancun is ?. Lol make sure you use uber.

I had a blast in Cancun! There is a ton to do, so keep in mind which how far the things to do will be from where you will be lodging. We decided to take the easy route and try a tour company to visit Chichen Itza and a cenote. Both excursions were beautiful and I am so so glad we experienced them! However, if you’re okay with not taking the easiest route, I definitely suggest renting a car and driving out to these sites on your own. Our tour with a guide/group took all day and we didn’t get to spend as much time in these areas as we would have liked.

Visited Cancun at the end of August. and it was hot and beautiful.

If you stay in the Hotel Zone, you can get on the city bus for 1 dollar. I believe it runs 24 hours. So you can ride it up to the bars and nightclubs. Very easily accessible. Once you get up there you have access to a handful of places. Dancing and drinking a lot of fun.

    Most people to go CocoBongo.

While you are in Cancun make sure to visit Chichen Itza, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.

Cancun and Cozumel were great. The food and drinks were good. I had so many authentic tacos. I visited there in March 2017. I totally forgot that would be spring break lol. The college kids I came across were not rowdy and disrespectful. They just wanted to get drunk and party. But it was still good.

I traveled to Cancun, Mexico for a friends wedding. We stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancun and the resort was probably the BEST resort I have ever stayed in. The compound is huge! I liked that there was an adults-only side and a family-side. Unfortunately, I am not sure I will go back as the security & safety is a rising issue. There have been numerous articles published about how tourists are targeted, even at the resorts. And for that, I am not sure I will return in he future.

I absolutely loved Cancún! I stayed at Villa Del Plamar. It was a great place to stay, away from the party scene and more relaxation. It was very affordable, great customer service and lots of perks to being there such as free breakfast, free paddle boarding, free snorkeling, and the water is beautiful! There are numerous bars and resturaunts on the resort as well. I recomend booking directly from their site instead of a 3rd party becuause the 3rd party tried to charge us for things that the hotel gives out for free!

I stayed at the Riu Palace Resort last time I visited Cancun. It was amazingly beautiful. The location itself was so majestic. The RTV jungle tour was an absolute blast. It’s definitely a great place to go for vacation. The people were very nice, and most of them were bilingual. I can’t wait to visit again. The resort was so classy and clean. When you walk through the doors, your jaw will certainly drop.

We rode ATV’s, zip lined, scuba dived, and last but not least horse back riding.. I definitely recommend Cancun to anybody wanting to travel to Mexico
