Would recommend the blank park zoo, science museum, and botanical garden for families. Great town for a day trip and adventures. Great sushi and pho downtown. Definitely a foodie location. Diverse population for sure. Felt safe day and night in the city.
Des Moines, Iowa was nice. People were nice. I felt safe. I saw many ppl who appear to look like kinfolks. Most of them were African, I didn’t ask what region.
