I recently moved to the coastal VA area and have friends and family in North Carolina. My travel route entails traveling thru small towns like Emporia, VA. It’s on the Va and NC border. I have yet to encounter any issues, but I have been warned about traveling thru there by night. If you must travel alone while being black… do so by day. I’m just saying…..
