Last traveled: NYE 2023
The town is a historic landmark in TX, quaint vibes, good eats and welcoming atmosphere *(except for one place we went see below). We enjoyed the local stores, meandering on Main Street, the fresh air, open skies and fireworks at night from the porch of the Vrbo rental. Would go again!

Great coffee and health/immunity shots.
Very welcoming and we met other friends who were TWB and laughed about how we were worried at first but felt very welcome (except the steak house which we exchanged info on) … led us to finding the BOB Rustling Robs

Super cute open park with nice restrooms. They host many events here and Christmas lights were beautiful!

We went to this restaurant on NYE with a bunch of other people waiting and everyone just went quiet when we walked in to get a table. Weird stares and we left for the main st restaurants. Went to the brew house restaurant which was amazing! This was the only place that gave off racist/bias/judgmental vibes.
