Grand rapids definitely seems to be a decent place it seems to be on the order of maybe St Joseph but it doesn’t seem to be as rough as Benton harbor area typical Midwest town various hotels and things to do as mainly here for things like the airport and things like that but when I was in Grand rapids and Kalamazoo area there soon to be a meeting of a lot of black folks so that’s something lot of activities going on with either the Brotherhood or the the free Brothers out here so that was good it was interesting seeing a large group of sophisticated and educated brothers and sisters out here mostly Brothers of course but yeah they’re well dressed and had the thing going on so there’s that decent looking area up here
Cute city with fun activities for the kids. John ball zoo is great for the whole family & their indoor market has a couple restaurants that are to die for
Grand Rapids is a family friendly town. Lots of things to do, great sight’s. Great night life. Hotels are affordable on the outside of the city. Downtown is amazing but pricey. I would recommend this little slice of Michigan it’s so worth it.
Very friendly and have good black owned restaurants and a lot of great thinks to do and a lot of stuff for kids to do also and great hotels to stay at.
