Born and raised here. Joliet had alot of history especially being a S suburb of Chicago. The crime has risen more due to recent opening of places in town to immigrants from Ukraine, ignorant kids from Chicago and just silly kids thinking they’re actually running something.
The history is rich in buildings, property and food, but it’s not like it was when I was a child growing up.
