Food in the local area was amazing, even if I only had the option to eat McDonalds, it was sooo good! They had a plethora of different cuisines so you’d never feel like you didn’t have an option on what to eat.
Cost wise, it was fairly inexpensive. People I went with (military) were getting full sleeve tattoos for about 200USD.
Multiple hotels in the downtown area and the one I stayed at was next door to a mall.
There is a lot of history in the area and even further out if you choose to visit.
Women (ESPECIALLY BLACK WOMEN) have to be careful though. Men out there aren’t used to seeing us so they will stare. There was a woman who ran her hands through my hair and I my friend and I had to curse her out. That was my only negative experience which is why I rated it low.
