Extremely local feel. My mother and I came here for the day. Clean water and beach. I believe this is a county park or something similar. Waaaaaaayyyy less touristy.
Lots of what you can tell were local families coming to bbq, relax and swim for the day. People in regular swim wear. Less waves and calm water so you can actually swim if you’re into that.
We even signed up for a locally owned/operated night time bioluminescent kayak tour from here.
Would 10/10 recommend if you’re not into or want to get away from the “party”scene.
