Maggie Valley has beautiful mountains but it’s built like and old western down and it feels like it too. It’s hard to rent an Airbnb and I’m pretty sure it’s do to the color of my skin. I keep being told the place was just rented but it stays up on the sites as available. In person the people or nice enough but it’s that hurry up and leave type of nice if you understand what I’m saying. I’ve traveled to many places but this is the only place I’ve felt tolerated. Idk could just be me but thought I would share just in case anyone has to come out here.
