It feels like the moment you enter into the town; the police somehow know you’re there. I saw a cop every couple lights, and the closer I got to downtown newnan, the more aggressive they seemed. All the roads seem intentionally built for slow travel, excessive stops, super long traffic lights, and helllllllla roundabouts for no reason. I also feel like it’s just a town full of a bunch of gas stations and car dealerships, fast food restaurants, hotels, and stores. Like noone lives in there but there is soooooooooooo much traffic, so maybe ppl just work there? And if you do see a neighborhood, you see the sign for the neighborhood, not the buildings fr until you physically go into the neighborhoods until you get pass ashley park. It just feels so eerie. I use to live here, but hadnt been back post covid; so I know what I’m talking about. I just can’t accurately refer to something that’s distinctly intangible. Tbr, if you don’t have to go below exit 64(union city), especially south of exit 51?(peachtree city); just don’t. Unless you roadtripping through to Alabama or Florida. It’s more of a wrong place wrong time or low quota town. You can do what you need to do, just do it before dark, preferably, and don’t take no chances on them traffic laws. Cause the police is aggressive due to them knowing you can’t avoid them UNTIL you get pass exit 64, from their exit (47) bc it’s a straight shot with no exits, or exits that require you to do some BS rerouting and has too traffic many lights.
Went bc I heard good reviews on their new playground. It even has a massive skatepark. And walking trail.
