Sardina is a beautiful island. Alghero is very friendly for people of color. Everyone was very helpful and had a smile and went out of their way. When asked questions or directions everything was written out on paper or even pointed and circled on a map. The food was delcicious and my daughter and I had a very good holiday there. I higly reccomend. Now on the other hand Olbia which is on the other side of the island we did expericience racism. During lunch time a waitress wouldnt allow us to enter a resturant even though there was multiple availble setting but as we stood out side to figure where to go next 2 other white familites came in and were seated right away. We also had lots of states too by children. Im not sure if they have ever seen any black people before or they were admiring our beauty. Also avoid early morning flights from Olbia as its extramly hard to get a taxi to the airport. I paid 30 EUR just to go 10 min down the road to the airport.
