Safe for travel
Stayed at a local Hampton Inn (management black, diverse staff)
Diverse restaurants
Would normally feel uncomfortable abt a small Texas town but this place was safe. A lot of traffic from oil and gas companies also brought in diverse people so a place use to accommodating “outsiders” for small town
