Did a mini-road trip. Stopped in Rainier for a quick lunch at Interstate Tavern on our way to Astoria, and it was very clear we were not welcome. Despite all the staring, we tried to look at a menu, but then the bartender came over and said “You been in here before?” which made people laugh. Then she proceeded to tell us they were a cash only business. We didn’t happen to have cash on us. She pointed to an ATM near the door. We decided to just leave. On our way out I noticed a credit card sitting on a bill tray. So they do take credit, interesting. The bill was at a table with four white dudes wearing thick, black tactical jackets. One had a balaclava sticking out his pocket.
