Well, let me start by saying I went for Carnival! Great time and experience! Food is cheap, simple, and taste great. They accept everyone and treat you nicely. Just remember, the country as a whole is poor and anything is a hustle, you can’t help everyone. The water, land, and city is amazing. Learn Portuguese, it will help. Uber it what I used while there the whole time, about 5 days, close your eyes while they drive!! I know I may not be selling it, but I had fun and I ate/drank for cents on the dollar
