What isn’t there to do in Tijuana? You can get black out drunk in the clubs and bars, go to the beach in Rosarito (and get lit there too, beach bars everywhere), get BOMB tacos for the change you’d put in a parking meter, watch a soccer game in the stadium, or get cheaper flights out of the Tijuana airport opposed to San Diego’s or LA’s. Honestly, I love Tijuana! Despite all the bad things you hear about the place, it’s full of beauty and culture. The only hard part for me is driving past the border, I don’t like to see people suffering. Also, driving back up in the border traffic can be annoying but make sure whoever has the aux cord got the bops and it’ll pass before you know it! Stop by any bar on the beach in Rosarito— Playas De Rosarito for poppin’ drinks at a fraction of the price of a drink at a bar in the states, get a massage on the beach, eat some tacos, ride some horses through the waves and my favorite part about it all, it’s a 30 minutes drive from downtown San Diego! I’ve been so many times it’s become a fun party trick when people visit me. The people love us too, they love our skin and they respect us! I’ve never had a problem with it. Definitely go! So grab your passport and gas up if you’re driving. Don’t let the stories of crooked cops and the cartel stop you from enjoying all the beauty Mexico has to offer.
