TRAVELING TO COSTA RICA UNDER COVID
Now finding places to travel to are hard to come by, due to COVID but you are in luck since Costa Rica is opening its borders to U.S. based travelers….well kinda
Costa Rica is one of the few countries that is opening its borders to U.S. based travelers. BUT there is a catch. They are doing so on a state by state basis. So yeah, ya’ll southern states ain’t cutting it lol.
So there are two main requirements. First, you have to from Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia or D.C with a valid state ID. Second, you must have proof of negative COVID test 72 hours before you board. If you meet this criteria, then Costa Rica is at your fingertips. Starting on September 15th, if you are from Massachusetts, Colorado, or Pennsylvania you will also be permitted.
