I worked as an English teacher in Poland for about 8 months. If I was a straight guy ready to start a family I would have stayed there! I felt very comfortable and safe even while being the only black person for days. Fun fact: Polish men were forced to fight for the French, and they were sent to Haiti. The Polish soldiers switched sides after arriving and helped the Haitians fight off the French! Also, Poland is an European country that never participated in the African slave trade or colonialism. They respect ALL people as long as you also give them respect.
