Had a tournament for kids basketball, booked room there and the older lady who checked us in just treated us as if we was so dangerous for sitting in our car a extra 10 mins after checking in. (We just ended a 4 hour trip) To the point she tried to make us leave and threatened to call the police on us for trying to communicate and ask what was wrong. Contacted hotel owner he made her let us stay for the weekend tried to get money back and just leave they refused. While proceeding to tell us just don’t come back next time. While all that’s going on we go to take our kids to get something quick to eat to calm the situation down and there’s a group of people standing there with beers and cigarettes being loud watching us the whole time. It was just to much will never book there again..
Traveled here with our youth basketball team. Definitely a super sundown town. They treated our kids terribly. We even opted to book our hotel an hour outside of the town to be safe. The mountains are a great view but I definitely don’t recommend traveling alone here
