Chattanooga, Tennessee is a home away from home! From the tourist attractions to the local black-owned businesses and eateries, this family friendly city is a MUST SEE! Downtown Chattanooga has something for everyone of all ages and all ethnicities. The heart of Downtown Chattanooga has a vast array of hotels on and off the river. Enjoy traveling around on the FREE Public Transit that runs the majority of the day all around the city including attractions such as the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX Theater. I have traveled individually, with family, and it makes for a GREAT couples destination. I have been to Chattanooga since I was a kid and its just gotten better and better over the years. If you choose to stay outside the downtown area, please do your research of the area you choose. The South District of Chattanooga is definitely a great option for outside of downtown Chattanooga stays (more Airbnb/Vrbo style options vs hotel). This area is LGBTQ+ friendly (The Moxy Hotel). It also hosts a number of black-owned/operated restaurants. As always, be safe and travel well!
