The Westin Camino Real https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/guawi-the-westin-camino-real-guatemala/overview/ is a very nice hotel with an amazing staff. It’s in a safe area and it’s within walking distance from many good restaurants. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and not too expensive, about 25$ per person. Many of the tours offer pickup from this hotel so it’s a great choice if you’re planning on doing many excursions and you want to be picked up. I highly recommend. I stayed there with my boyfriend and daughter, we were treated very well the entire stay. No awkward stares, or comments. We really felt welcomed as a black family
