So I spent about a week here recently like two weeks ago (one week in Dublin). I was around the university of Galway. It was awesome and beautiful and amazing and the people were wonderful. Between Dublin and Galway though, I’d chose Galway one hundred percent.
My mother and I took a guided tour bus and Ferry from Galway to the islands as well as the Cliffs of Moher, the scenery and weather was just absolutely beautiful it’s a small island and a quick but steep walk up to the ruins, that one can go inside of that overlooked another ruin (pictured) that was blocked off but cows roamed in. There was a spot on the way up to the ruins we got some nice mushroom soup with an amazing soda bread as well as some soft serve ice cream. A cute cat named Beatrice along with a chicken and duck roamed around freely. The island is cute and the people are incredibly kind. The ferry came with the tour and a brief account of the cliffs of Moher along with your by cliffs during the explanation. It was a wonderful trip and a wonderful day. Due to a tight schedule we weren’t out very late often but returning from dinner on a Wednesday evening the restaurants and bars were filled with people having a great time.
