Traveled to Greenland in July 2022 as part of a Quark Expeditions trip. Yes, people live in Greenland! The airport here is small but serviceable with flights mainly from Iceland and Norway. There is a interesting museum near the airport that is run by a local guy who got most of the artifacts from EBay. The museum chronicles the US and Allied military presence there during World War II, since Greenland was stregically important to the war effort. There is a really small village across the river from the airport was was interesting to visit. Not a destination in itself, but an interesting place to visit nonetheless. Greenland is all about unspoiled natural beauty and it was nice to be away from civilization (though there was wifi in the village).
