Howl is one of these places that Black Michiganders will largely avoid. You pull over off the freeway and stay in sight of the freeway just long enough to get gas. That’s it. It is one of the rural cities that have a KKK headquarters. Let them live in squalor and rusted out trailer parks and keep your money in your pocket in your foot on the gas pedal.
Well, I never been to Howell Michigan but I do know that this is a sundown town. Not only that, they are racist towards black folks, but they do not like Jews and Latinos as well. They were holding up Nazi flags recently and this is the home of the KKK in Michigan. So I would definitely avoid this area at all cost if you are black, African American, any race besides white. It’s a shame that we have to deal with this in 2024 but to keep all our brothers and sisters safe avoid this place
