Take a trip to Kruger National Park ,:) there is more to South Africa than Cape Town and the Beaches :) The Kruger National Park is `a very relaxing environment in the Bush with the animals and nature and being disconnected from the City and the world.

Got to stay at one of the few luxury lodges in the Kruger called the Outpost, with open view villas of the park and the rivers : https://www.rareearth.co.za/the-outpost-summary

The place offers daily game drives and walks , to see the eleplants and any other wildlife.
The Kruger is a 6 hours 50 minutes drive from Johannesburg or you can take a flight which is 1 hour from OR Tambo to Skukuza airport inside the Park and arrange for a transfer with the lodge.

For our safari we stayed five nights at the Grand Krugger Lodge and Spa (around 400usd/person safari not included). I recommend this lodge as the double rooms are very spacious and clean. It’s not very far from the safari park more or less 30mn. The staff is very friendly and professional.
Our geep driver for the safari had a lot of knowledge and shared a lot of stories with us about the safari business, south Africa, the nature life… He was very happy to see that more and more black people are going on safari.
My advice is to ask for a driver at the hotel and not take your own car to the park. Krugger is very very crowded and its dangerous if you don’t have the experience of the jungle. A game drive is about 70usd/person but really it worth the experience. Make sure you ask all the fees to the hotel before going to avoid any budget issues.
Besides the quality of the stay and wildlife of Krugger, i was a little desapointed with the number of tourists and concrete road in the park. But the beauty of a girafe in from of you is unmatchable!
