There isn’t much to do here. They are building along Hwy 55 which is a straight shot to New Orleans. There are plenty of hotels and eateries along the highway. I recommend YoYo Saki (Japanese) and Tortilla Soup (Mexican). There are plenty other franchise restaurants in the area. This town is known for their train depot. It’s a cool thing to do if you are traveling with kids.
