I have to few places in Argentina but strangely not the typical Buenos Aires. Mendoza is definitely one my preferred locations because the food speaks for the city. When anyone speaks of food in Argentina, it has to the wine and steaks. For me anywhere you go to where the wine is cheaper than the water you have the give it a 5 star rating. You can get a perfect steak with fries and a glass of wine for $10 for lunch. The country is the home of the Malbec so you definitely can’t go wrong, so take the opportunity to go to a winery and have a tour and a meal. A quick lesson on the wine, a fabulous meal with the backdrop of the Andes must be considered an amazing day.
