I wish I could find more pictures from my Mexicali trip, but it’s a fun little getaway! My friend grew up in Mexicali before moving to San Diego, so I’d definitely recommend either befriending a local, they know where the good stuff is!
On Saturday mornings if you’re driving you have to be careful as they have a market where they’re selling all the goods from handbags to the latest Nikes (now I ain’t saying they’re actual labels but they’re damn comfy!).
Their nightlife’s in the middle, most of them are neighborhood parties and a lot of the locals don’t recommend going to bars and clubs because of trouble, but if you want to have a good time, slide through a neighborhood party and you’ll have a better safer time.
