I lived in Minneapolis for ten years. It is an ideal place for families and those seeking adventure to travel. Summer is a great time to be in Minnesota. There are festivals and concerts galore. There a lakes and parks every few miles, major sports teams, and a great arts scene. The Mall of America is on your doorstep and for those who love music you can take a trip to Paisley Park.
When you come to the Twin Cities Area, stay out of Wayzata. The police are the worst there. I’ve been pulled over for driving while black.
Great food! Fun mall and inclusive area! The traffic is terrible similar to Chicago but worth the drive!
