Absolutely incredible Pueblo Mágico about an hour outside of Mexico City. There are great spas, boutique hotels, and markets on the weekend throughout this small town. Also, Tepoztlán is known for huge jar mojitos and cervezas! Great for a short weekend trip.
This is a great place for relaxation. I highly recommend Amomoxtli because it is an incredible hotel with a beautiful spa and backdrop.
I have been a few times with different people. There’s not a LOT of tourists, so you may get some stares especially if you are there on a busy weekend, but overall I felt very comfortable!
