Grand Bahamas is a picturesque and vibrant place to visit. A bit costly due to the recouping of constantly needing to rebuild. Like many other Caribbean places, tropical storms in hurricanes too big damage to these islands. People struggle to make real money to make ends meet and tourism is a necessary income. Be prepared to spend money and tip well. Pat patronized the small businesses, especially the local food places tip well.
There’s plenty to do in regards to water activity take the tours. There’s lots of history. Try all the different foods do some shopping. Leave those US dollars behind and support the Bahamians.
