If you’re looking for an off the beaten path beach vacation consider Virgin Gorda, BVI. Great caribbean island that’s welcoming and safe. A ferry ride away from other Virgin Islands. I have extended family there and own a short term rental. We do a big trip every couple of years, best to bring your own party if you want some real fun. Otherwise it’s quiet, laid back, and often pristine beaches all to yourself.

Traveling While Black
BVI is by far my favorite place to visit. We flew into St. Thomas and took the ferry over to the British side where my now fiancé family is from. What I love most about the BVI is the adventure and history. I just love the carribean culture. They took me to the hottest local food spots and we even Island hopped to Scrub Island which was my absolute favorite memory! He proposed!! I loved it so much that I’m planning on getting married in the BVI!
