Honestly, Oslo was not all that to me… but we didn’t visit the right area. We stayed in the city center that was very crowded, noisy, and not pleasant on the eyes. The opera house was nice, a bit of a steep walk, but after we saw and were underwhelmed with the experience, we knew we didn’t want to stay in Oslo (at least the city center).
So we booked the only AirBnB available and it was INCREDIBLE! The AirBnB was a small, cozy guest house on an ALPACA farm. Truly it was an incredible experience waking up in the morning to sun and greenery all around us, then walking outside to go feed some alpacas and take a nice walk in the forest. I highly recommend staying here if you want to relax because it’s outside of the city but still not too far from it (with a car)
