Had to drive through this town to get home to Illinois. Was follow by a white male in a burgundy jacket with a green hood, in a white Grand Prix with one headlight. He went around my car, and blocked the lane with his vehicle, and I went around. He chased through this neighborhood for almost 3 miles at 4 am. I saw a house and turned into the u-shaped driveway, thinking maybe he’d think I knew someone and drive off, no. He waited at the other end of the driveway. I had my high beams on due to this neighborhood having little to no street lights, and they shined brightly into his car. He first tried to shield his face and then got out of his vehicle and started walking towards my car. I immediately pulled off and called the police. He chased me for about an additional 3 minutes, and then I was out of the neighborhood and back onto the highway. This was the first time something like this had ever happened to me. I’m thinking he noticed how slow I was driving and my tags on my car was a dead give away that I was a long way from home, and unfamiliar with the area. I was scared for my life, and also had my child with me. Definitely an eye opener.
