Go to bodykure vegan restaurant upstairs for nice view port Antonio and it’s close to the marina. Then get away from crowd and head north along coast for mother nature

Jamaica is great, but don’t wait till you get there to make plans. Reserve your tour guide while home, and it is best when done with a recommendation. Don’t flash cash and never pay full price unless there’s value.

Traveling While Black
One of the most beautiful places in Jamaica, so much untouched natural beauty. The people are friendly and the food is amazing, beaches are breathtaking and having the picturesque Blue mountains as a backdrop is simple tranquil.

I was raised in the USA but I am originally from Jamaica. My family decided to return to Jamaica for a mini family reunion and we decided to stay in Port Antonio because it was an area of Jamaica that our family is not from so it gave us an opportunity to see a new side of Jamaica. A TIME WAS HAD!!! In addition to being more affordable than some of the popular and touristy parts of Jamaica, our accommodations were amazing, and we worked with the place to cook most of our meals for us. Pro tip: Definitely arrange the menu beforehand with your accommodations so that the family can enjoy their meals! Planning out the meals in advance really made for an enjoyable experience for us. Below is a list of our accommodations and also the activities we did. Highly recommend this hidden gem of an area to others. Not only did we feel safe traveling as a Black family but we were also able to enjoy a part of Jamaica that is a little bit off the beaten path.
Lovely Accommodations: All Nations Guesthouse (https://allnationsguesthouse.com/jamaica/)
Activities We Enjoyed: Horseback riding, Massages at Geejam Hotel, Frenchman’s Cove, Rafting on the Blue Lagoon, Boston Beach
