My family and I were traveling from Panama City Beach to Hoover, AL. We decided to stop at The Ginger Root restaurant in Samson, Alabama. Given it’s a small town in Alabama, we were cautious but the restaurant had 4.7 stars on Google so we decided to give it a try. IT WAS WORTH THE STOP. The food was outstanding and the service was friendly and timely. The ambiance was above expectations and they even accommodated us without reservations. The attire is business casual. We were underdressed in beach wear but no one said a word. Only brown faces in the establishment but we were never uncomfortable.
