While Seattle is a place with beautiful scenery and lots to experience, it Blacks in black representation. There is still a rich cultural history provided black people whose neighborhood of the central district has been completely gentrified to the point where it is unrecognizable. With this in mind, there are still wonderful sites of nature and culture to explore. The NW African American Musuem is absolutely breathtaking. From its architecture to its political and historical art displays, it’s a must see! Best restaurant goes to the Black Owned “Communion R and B” for a vibe that is straight up Rhythym and Blues. Chef Kristi Brown has done something special that really will and does enliven community and stomachs. A must see(and eat) with Delicious and well crafted Cocktails, Creative dishes rooten in soul food and a vibe that is unmatched.

Visit the Communion R&B Black owned restaurant and go in the Summertime to enjoy the weather. The food is delicious and the Friday night music is off the chain at least it used to be. It is located in the heart of Seattle and the owner is cool. Visit Communion

Beautiful city. Lots to see and do. Take the ferry to the area across from the city; it has beautiful beaches there. I’m a lover of old records and it has GREAT record shops even at Pike’s Peak. It also an easy city to walk and gives great exercise. The people were supper friendly.

The hotel was perfectly positioned within a 10 to 30-minute walk of every attraction on my to do list! I had 4 hours to knock out three attractions on my first day in town. Within 10 minutes of checking into the hotel, I walked to the Museum of Pop Culture. I let my inner geek and sci-fi nerd have a fan-girl moment when I stepped into the Marvel Universe, Star Trek and Fantasy exhibits. Next, I almost floated next door to experience the Chiuluay Gardens and Museum. The unique and intricate glass sculptures captured my attention and filled my heart with joy. At the Space Needle, I gasped at the breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains, the harbor and the Seattle skyline. The next day I decided to walk 30 minutes to and from the pier. I felt my creativity tank was almost full as I visited the Seattle Aquarium and enjoyed an hour harbor cruise. I worked up an appetite, drove to Café Selam, an Ethiopian restaurant, in the Central District and enjoyed a savory lamb dish (Qey Wot). Next, I drove an hour and a half north to Camano Island to begin the final leg of my journey. I arrived at the waterfront bed and breakfast inn near 6 p.m. on the second day of my journey. The inn was quaint and perched on a small hillside with a breath-taking view of the lake at Saratoga Passage, majestic tall pine trees and the snowcapped mountains of Whidbey Island.

Seattle is a very interesting city. There’s lots to see and do especially at Pikes Market. So many vendors and eateries. The marketplace offers everything from fresh fruit produce to handcrafted souvenir items. The food choices are plentiful-as a seaside city, you have to try the clam chowder! I took a short and inexpensive ride on the monorail to the Spaceneedle and the Chuhiliy glass museum which is an attraction on its own! I stayed in suburbs of Everett which had all the amenities of a small city. It is well linked to the metropolis so I was able to take the bus right into the downtown area on most days. It was about a 30min ride and costs about $2.75 one way

Seattle was a very cool experience. I enjoyed walking thru the Pike’s Market where you have to the very first Starbucks. I also went up on the top of the Space Needle, overseeing the whole city of Seattle. It’s was very beautiful because the city was lit up. The nightlife is cool. You can bar hop or club hop. It’s a very fun atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back

When I visited Seattle for the first time it was suggested by my next boyfriend. It was his birthday and he said he had always wanted to go to Seattle from watching Sleepless in Seattle when he was younger. So I thought cool but all I really knew about Seattle was the Space Needle and its always rainy, oh and its Jimmy Hendrix’s birthday place. We found a last minute deal on Priceline and we were out! We stayed in walking distance from the Space Needle, and our hotel room had a cool view of the Space Needle. Which you must visit and eat at the revolving restaurant, we had brunch there one Sunday it was pricey but well worth it. During this visit to it was rainy but it more like a light mist, throughout the day and night.
Seattle has the eclectic Pike’s Market, which is a foodie’s dream, every time I’m in Seattle I discover a new gem at the market. I also always order fresh seafood and have it shipped home. I love this place its an actual market which any and everything you could imagine. It another must visit place while in Seattle. Seattle has an amazing food scene which often times determines where I decide to visit. We took a really cool food tour while on our trip which I would highly recommend while visiting this ultra hip city. I cant recall the name at this time but it well worth what I paid, which I snagged off Groupon on whim as a cool gift to give my boyfriend. There were a lot to choose from so I suggest reading the reviews.
Seattle in broken down in different cool areas lots of nice boutiques and shopping the Capital Hill area, there a nice club scene. I felt super comfortable while out on the night scene. be sure to take a boat tour on the Argosy. I would definitely reccommend Seattle as a cool place to visit. I’ve been back 3 other times, I always discover something new. My then boyfriend, who is now my husband and I have dubbed Seattle our happy place. We’ve seen our Carolina Panthers play at the famous Century Link Field and we’ve also seen one of my favorite artist Nipsey Hussle preform at the Neptune Theater in Seattle. Its a cool city, with a thriving food scene, cool bars and lots to do! It lives up to its hipster image but its a total cool spot! Be sure visit the famous gum wall!

Seattle is a very busy but calm city. Downtown area can seem like a headache but it is very easy to maneuver around. Plenty of shops and activities around the area. Really liked space needle and the art museum.

Surrounding areas in Seattle have a lot to offer. Bellevue is a unique city in its own. Offers lots of bars, restaurants of all sorts and beautiful views of nature. Because it sits on Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish, there are aquatic rentals that offer a different level of adventure. Highly recommend.

Uber Is relatively cheap because everything is close or you can walk.

The night life in Seattle is decent. Most places are open until 1-2am and are usually located around other bars etc. One major area being Capitol Hill where you can find a couple clubs and

I’m absolutely in love with Seattle for several different reasons. But pertaining to local food, my tourist favorite was Biscuit Bitch in downtown Seattle it definitely lives up to the hype. My super lowkey local favorite is Pecado Bueno in the Fremont area. I kid you not, I went there everyday on my visit even if just for a margarita and to chat with the bartenders. It’s a great, calm, local spot!
