If you are Black or Ethnic, avoid this village altogether. We had a traumatic experience when we lived here as a Black family and we were forced out of the village by white members of the council that stalked us, threatened us and harrassed us. We moved and successfully sued them for our trauma. Stay away from this area if you are US Military and looking for off base housing. It’s not safe or welcoming to us. Stay as close to the base or Bury St Edmunds as you can if you are Black.
