The Grand Canyon Hotel is a charming, historic spot that really gives off that vintage vibe as soon as you walk in. It’s located right in the heart of downtown Williams, which makes it super convenient—you’ll have easy access to a variety of restaurants and shops nearby. My girlfriend and I stayed here to have a quick drive to the Grand Canyon, where we hiked all day.
Now, my girlfriend liked the hotel more than I did—she gave it a 4 out of 5, while I’d say it’s closer to a 3 for me. The hotel has a lot of character, but there are a few things to keep in mind. There’s no elevator, so be ready to haul your luggagey up the stairs.
I do have to give a shout-out to Jocelyn, the concierge, who was awesome. She’s still in high school, but she handled everything like a pro. That kind of service definitely made the experience better.
Overall, the Grand Canyon Hotel is a unique place with tons of history and personality. If you appreciate that old-school charm, it’s worth a stay—just be prepared for some stairs!
