Myself and 4 other POC’s stayed at an airbnb on Tomahawk Trail in Winchester VA, made multiple trips into town for necessities and groceries, ordered deliveries and not once did we feel unwelcome. The airbnb host was very very nice. and every interaction we had, whether with a fast food worker or gas station employee, sales attendant was pleasant. I would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains. Not a ton of nightlife or many things to do (not that we looked fr lol) we wanted to get away and did just that. peacefully.
