    Things To Do
    Edit

My boyfriend and I went to Bali for my birthday. We bought our package on groupon. Do Not Sleep on GROUPON. It was such a great deal we paid a little under $1000 per person for flight on hotel. The groupon also cane with a couple included tours. It was super beneficial because it took us to all the places to see, that we wouldn’t have thought of. The Balinese dancing, places to eat, some awesome statues, a batik factory ( where they make a special kind of printed fabric) and of course the rice fields. Honestly there was so much set up for us, the tour guide was awesome. This really is a beautiful country. The only thing I would do differently is buy a multi city trip. on our downtime we didn't really know what else to do. Also since it was my birthday, Groupon threw in a free couples massage. It was definitely a more relaxed trip, not to many crazy experiences. Go to La Plancha beach, it is so beautiful it has these gorgeous beanbags and umbrellas, must see. Other than that I was not a fan of the food, so that was disappointing. Def worth going, but hop around!

    Traveling While Black
    Edit

I went to Prague a few years back not really knowing what to expect. I was a little nervous, I am not to familiar with Czech Republic besides Budapest. I was pleasantly surprised the architecture was beautiful, food was good and I never felt uncomfortable traveling while black. There isnt that much people of color, so I do feel like I got a couple stares, but nothing crazy. I felt safe, it seems like a pretty calm city. The most ‘exciting’ thing was watching the futbol game in the town courtyard. A lot of people out and about and I felt safe. I would def recommend coming here, its is definitely underrated!

Thailand Is def on the top my list of places to go! There is so many things to do here it really is endless, but could be overwhelming! the actually City of Bangkok is busyyy city, but the tuk tuks ( little motor cars) makes it east to get around. On Sunday the city was pretty dead and we got a driver who basically told is he would drive us around to different monuments throughout the day, we probably paid him $10 USD. He took us to get a tailored suit for my fiance, it was so quick, so inexpensive ($100 ish) and soo nice. I definitely recommend that because they know there city best! We also really enjoyed the floating market such an awesome experience. But be careful everything is a hustle out here. When we kept asking the Taxi driver about how much the floating market would be he said he didnt know and we would find out when we get there. When we got there you sit there and the ‘salesperson’ comes up to you and gives you this insane price that is more than what I saw online. We kept trying to lower it and they were def aggressive, but we had an honest budget that we set aside for this and they wouldn’t meet us there, so we left and then the Taxi driver began to try and pressure us. Once we got to the car the Taxi driver said fine they can do it for that amount. I found this interesting because the taxi driver clearly gets some cut of this, just beware you don’t know who is working with who and who is tryong to work you. All in all we had something to do at all times of the day. I recommend Wat Aran, reclining Buddha, Golden Temple, Boat trip along Chao Phraya River, and of course a massage, we got an in room private one hour massage for about $10 each!! http://www.groupon.com/deals/ga-affordable-world-tours-bangkok-river-kwai-ayutthaya-pattaya-beijing-phuket-shanghai-4?utm_campaign=UserReferral_mih&utm_source=undefined
