So I went to Thailand for my birthday in June. The most expensive part of this trip was the plane ticket. I paid $1300 (round trip). I went with two of my close male friends and we ended up getting separate hotel rooms! The first was the Palmery Resort ($189 for 5 night)... then we went to Bangkok for like a day. Stayed at the Prince Palace ($99 for 2 nights) and then we went back to Phuket and spent a night at the Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay ($305 for 1 night)- best hotel I’ve ever been private pool floating breakfast you name it! In Phuket there are many excursions to choose from. The very first day we did the Tiger kingdom and a snake show. Most terrifying but yet fulfilling experiences. Went out for a beautiful dinner overlooking the ocean BAAN CHOM VIEW RESTAURANT (must go great food great vibes) Day 2 we did ATV ride, elephant bathing and trekking, we went to a temple that has monkeys I forgot the name (beware the monkeys steal), kayaking, then we ended the day by going to a waterfall. This was one package (they picked us up from the hotel, fed us, then dropped us back to the hotel) Day 3 Phi Phi island tour by speedboat. I did 6 islands total (hotel pick up, lunch, drop off) Day 4 Phuket day tour: Great Buddha, cashew and honey factory, and a few temples. Day 5 Bangkok. Visited temples and drove around and enjoyed the view (reminds me of NY). Had lunch at AMPHOE DAMNOEN SADUAK. Also went to the floating market and got a few items. at night we went on a river dinner cruise (MUST GO) Day 6 we spent the entire day at patong beach. Beautiful scenery, a lot of shopping and the night life is to die for! Must go to Bangala Road! My overall experience was great. The first hotel was farther away from the night life so we had to catch a cab to Patong beach THEY OVERCHARGE FOR CAB RIDES! Please download the GRAB app it helps! Tuktuk rides were fun and convenient atleast try it once. Street food was amazing, the people were amazing! Try to bargain everything you can lol like they give you the highest price first then drop it after u bargain with them! O and get a Thai massage it was amazing and very cheap.
