Been to Paris three times, most recently with my wife and two daughters. My girls loved their experience we got them exited by watching social media travel videos of Paris and Versailles. Paris has changed over the years (security barrier at Eiffel Tower), but Parisians have been great. I generally attempt to speak some basic French words and have always been treated with respect. So many people speak English that it is usually used as the bridge language. Walked around half a day on my own and was met with nary a second glace.
