Mexico City is an extremely beautiful place. It isn’t too different from the states, being that it has a big city feel, and also there are tons of stores similar to the US. There are lots of tours you can take to see the entire city. Not too far away are the famous Pyramids. It’s about an hour drive or so. There are two huge pyramids (the pyramid of the sun, and the pyramid of the moon). You can hike up these pyramids, and once you make it to the top there is an amazing view. In the central part of the city there is lots of good local food, many shops to buy gifts and souvenirs, and lots of stores to check out.
Aruba is the perfect island for relaxation. There aren’t a ton of things to do, but there are two very beautiful beaches. Eagle beach is gorgeous, and a lot more subtle, with less people. It’s located on the low rise side of the island. Then on the high rise side, that’s where all the hotels and large resorts are located. There is a different beach over there, that is also beautiful, but there are definitely more people in that area. It doesn’t get too loud, unless you choose to be in that type of setting. I’ve been twice, and the weather is generally nice year-round. If you wanna lay out in the sun, or do outdoor activities, this is a great place to do it because the environment is so relaxed. I definitely recommend Aruba for a peaceful, stress free vacation.
I really enjoyed my stay in Paris. I stayed at an Airbnb in Noisy-le-Grand. It was more of a local area, but very nice and quiet. It was about a 30 minute drive from Orly airport. The Airbnb was inside of a complex, across the street from a mall and train station. The Noisy-le-Grand station had buses and trains that would bring you directly into downtown Paris. There were also lots of stores and supermarkets nearby. It was a great experience, and super affordable because it wasn’t a hotel. Paris also has Uber, so if confusion arises with public transportation, it’s still very easy to get around. Airbnb link: https://abnb.me/cIMyEJHMfU
I stayed in San Juan, PR for the weekend. It was extremely beautiful, and filled with many activities. As a black American from the US mainland, my friend and I found it incredibly easy to navigate. In San Juan, they have this area called La Placita. There is so much to do there at night, especially on weekends. They have restaurants, hookah, and outdoor dancing. There are tons of people roaming through the area all throughout the night. Uber also does pickups and drop-offs there, which makes getting to and from very simple. The people were very kind. Old San Juan also has a lot going on at night. When I went they were hosting a free concert. Besides that, they had plenty of food and music. It was a great experience, and always something there to get into!
